I will be promoting threads in the forum or blog posts that I find particularly interesting to the front page. Your post will appear as an article for all to see.

If I promote something of yours that you are not thrilled about you can ask to have to removed. I might oblige. :toofless:

Does it have to be educational in nature in order to be featured? Or is it just a "whatev, baby, as long as it's interesting!" type of shindig?

It just needs to be interesting. Education is good but something that provokes thought is better to me.

It's a good outlet for rants that don't really fit in a discussion forum because the author doesn't want them to get discussed as much as they want to express them. Which is AWESOME! Because then you don't have to get into the situation where you're pointing out things and the author goes "but I didn't want it discussed, it was just something I wanted to express". I'm loving this concept.

I'm a blogger by nature and I just love how we all have blogs here... I don't care if my blogs get promoted or not, I'm just happy to have the feature on here now!! Thank you GEBS and mol!! :boing:

Anyways, I like a challenge and this is a good challenge..to get blogs promoted. I'm an attention whore like that.

*chuckles* I was inspired by yours. But it's something I've wanted to do for a long time, I just didn't think it fit within the confines of a forum. It's a little too, self centered.

Atheist wars blog style? Damn... that'd be an odd concept.

I have just started a site for my Urban Farm. It combines a blog and a community forum to discuss Green subjects of any kind as well as general discussion. It is just starting out and any help to get some hits would be greatly appreciated. It is mostly a local site, catering to Winnipeg followers. But we always welcome others if they wish to bring any discussion to the table. We encourage discussion on any topic related to gardening, farming, hydroponics, aquaponics, composting, guerrilla gardening, etc. We also want people to feature their own blogs as well. If you think it is a worthy site please pass it on :)
