I am sitting here at work (in store) looking at FAQ...... and thinking about the most frequestly asked question by a client about Tarot?

Can you actually tell me the Future?

What are the Lotto Numbers?

Will I meet my Soul Mate?

Is my Husband cheating on me?

Can You Tell me what I should do?

Should I stay here or go home?

Should I date Mr X or Mr Y?

The list could go on.......Most of the questions just need the wording changed to get a helpful answer, others just don't need answering by the cards.....
What is the strangest question you have been asked within a tarot reading?

What are your thoughts when a client asks you one of those questions?

How do you reply?

I always get:

what's X thinking/feeling about me?

what does X want with me?

what's the future for X and I?

what will happen with {situation} at work?

The strangest one was "will I have a safe flight?" I was shuffling thinking "please say yes, please say yes" The cards did say yes, which was good cause I didn't know what I was going to say if the death card popped up.

What do I think about these kinds of questions? Not a lot to be honest. If a client is paying me to read for them, I will throw cards on absolutely anything they want me to and tell them honestly what I see. I don't think of it as my place to judge what questions people ask. I'll also help them rephrase questions because sometimes there is a problem with vague wording.

I think the only real time I would have issues and not read is if someone asked me something like: "what do I do to cover up/get away this rape/murder/abuse?" or "will I get caught for [insert violent crime here]."

I get lots and lots of "Am I pregnant?" At which point, I tell them that a pregnancy test is cheaper than paying for a reading with me.
