I'm still waiting. It's been a string of hurry up and wait type issues. We didn't get the clear to close because of the termite infestation (which was so minute that the inspector almost missed them).....and they are inactive. But the FHA mortgage company wants a structural engineer to come out to verify the integrity of the structure. My mortgage broker is getting ahold of the termite inspector so he can talk to the underwriter so we can get the clear to close! All he has to tell them is that the infestation is so little that there is NO WAY it's caused structrual damage yet. <shaking head> I am so frustrated and mental at this point. It's seems to be on thing after another. <sigh> So....with any luck (and the goddess knows that luck has deserted my in the past 3 weeks.) we will get the clear to close today.

Just babbling....way off topic....sorry.....and now we return to our regularly scheduled program.
