Currently i bought the dragon tarot for myself cuz i love the artwork on the cards. The deck I had preceding the dragon tarot was the lord of the rings deck. Being from the same artist i bought the dragon deck as well and i love the artwork. But one thing is odd about this deck I dunno if its just me or its just that im not reading the cards right for myself. Lol here is the problem, when I do a celetic cross spread for myself i get odd readings... But when i do it for other people the readings turn out good and correct for them. Is this a sign that i shouldn't use this deck for myself or should i still try and hope to get a correct reading. Thanks for your time.

not sure about your readings Masamune, but i have the Dragon Tarot as well. i too bought it for the art, as i like dragons and such. and as a 'theme deck', it's pretty cool.
but as a working deck, i find it rather thin, with very sparse symbolism.
unfortunately this is true of most theme decks. there always seems to be a point where a conflict arises between the theme and the tarot. and of course, for the sake of continuity, the theme MUST win out (to the detriment of its 'tarotness').
this doesn't keep me from collecting them though. i have two different Arthurian decks, various 'oracles', a Celtic deck, even an Alice in Wonderland deck. none of them are much use to me as working decks, but i like them just the same.

If you are finding that the readings for yourself aren't very accurate, then go with you instinct and don't read for yourself with them. You may need a more personal deck with better symbolism. I'd continue reading for others with them though! :D
I do have the Dragon tarot too. I like it for the art work and don't read with the deck but admire it. It seems to be happy enough with the adoration it gets.
