There are always many questions on these boards about mixing the different religions. Some are asking about mixing Palo and Santeria, some about mixing Santeria and Wicca/Pagan paths, etc.
I know there has always been an intermingling, and I use that term to make clear that I am not a fan of indiscriminate mixing - I mean some ritual practices can't be mixed, of say people who are both Lukumi and Congo, or the Haitian influence in Eastern Cuba, the Dominican influence and of course Espiritismo in Puerto Rico.
What I am wondering is how have people come to terms with practicing less common combinations - say Santeria, Hoodoo, Voodoo, Palo, or even Candomble, etc. sort of bridging the gap between all the islands and say Bahia to New Orleans. Or does anyone even do this? I know they are all branches on the same tree but how many limbs are you out on?
