I got the idea to try to put the trumps in a circle and see if i could align it with the wheel of the year. I'm sure there are any number of ways to align them, but i decided to start with the Fool at Yule (ok, didn't notice til now that it rhymes, lol) or winter solstice:

but then i decided to see if i could align Temperance with one of the Equinoxes (b/c of the theme of balance). It seemed to work best if i had it be the autumn equinox. then the spring equinox is the Empress (seems to fit with all the new life and growth of spring), the Sun is at winter solstice (esp. appropriate with the sun child in the RWS), Samhain/Halloween borders the Tower and the Star (the Tower seems appropriate for death, tho perhaps not as much as Death, and the water in the Star card seems to fit too), Beltaine borders the Lovers, the summer solstice is at Strength (greatest strength of the sun, and the lion is solar too), and the Fool is at Imbolc (entrance to the journey at a time of year often associated w/ initiations).

Any thoughts?
