I am fairly new here, having only started posting a couple days ago. I been posting in the New Pagan forums.. because I'm new and a bit confused. I'm happy to meet new people and discuss my beliefs and learn from others, and I hope people will check out my posts.
By the way, my name is James, I am 16 and live in Tyler, TX.

Thanks for the speedy reply; I actually got a e-mail saying there had been a new response before my browser had even loaded the thread after creating it.. I had to hit F5 to refresh.. lol.

:D What can I say - I'm a bored computer nerd who updates the forum index obsessively whenever I'm by the computer (i.e. all the time ;)). :D

Same here pretty much.. I find myself compulsively switching around trying to see if people have responded to any posts of mine yet. Unfortunately, I may be losing the Internet soon because of money constraints and lack of job availability in my area. :(

When all else fails,
Just keep boinging.

Ouch! I'm in a similar situation. I'll be moving soon, and at the new place I'll just have dial-up (I currently have broadband) for about two months before I get broadband... And where I live, we pay per minute, so I tend to run the phone bill sky high (at least I did the last time I had dial-up)... The good thing is that I'll still have a computer where I live currently, so I can get online for longer periods of time at least a few times per week...

Hmm. Good luck to you. I have recently all but given up on finding 'good' employment and am looking franticly to the fast food industry. Being sixteen and having graduated highschool a few months ago, I would THINK with total 24/7 availability I'd be able to find SOMETHING. *Sigh*

"No job without work experience, and no work experience without a job". Catch 22. Good luck!

I am having a heck of a time litely. It's a real bother to me really. That and I found a wonderful girl who lives near me, who is also pagan, and she is ... ENGAGED. Bah, life is frustrating at times. I have applied for every secreterial position I can think of, but they simply look at my application and laugh; I suppose they think that with four years of internet chatting under my belt 120 WPM typing is made up or something. And whenever I meet someone who I consider myself drawn to, I find that said person has already had some sort of emotional scarring in the past that keeps them from realizing that I'm not some chauvenstic pig.
*Sigh*

I just spent some 30 minutes hanging out through my window looking at supposedly grown people, piss drunk and fighting.
I live on the most violent street in this half of the country... Or at least it's one of the most violent streets...
Why can't people just... grow up?
Just a nightly ramble...

People are like that. Hey, do you have AIM? Since we're basically having an IM-chat anyways.. well, not quite INSTANT, but same theory, why don't we get together and keep from cluttering up server space? :D
My AIM is Kokoro Na Hentai
IM me if you would please.

Hello and a warm welcome, PaganInkubus.
*scratching my head and trying to remember what an incubus was*
Anyway, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a local telephone call in the USA free? I thought you only had to pay for long-distance calls. Always thought that to be the reason why everyone in the USA seemed to be on the net 10 years ago, when Dutch participation in the net just started.

Yup, local phone calls are free, and some companies are even making long-distance free within the US. :)

There's no harm in greeting me twice, and you never did greet Kitty. :p

Greetings,
If local phone is free, how does financial burden conflict with being on-line? I guess the computer has already been paid for.
But don't feel compelled to answer. I'm just too curious for my own health.
(Don't come stalking me in my dreams! ;) I actually did look up what 'incubus' meant. How scary!)

I'm using cable Internet as opposed to dial-up, and the parental units would be none too happy if I tied up our only phone line constantly.
