Trying to 'adopt'... Wish us luck!

Well, after talking about it for about a month, my husband and daughter and I have decided we'd like to adopt a cat.

Tonight we went out looking and found two of the sweetest little kitties. They're littermates, both about 6 months old... one is all black with a white star on her chest, and the other is a brown/tan calico. They're such darling, lovey little cats! :)

So, after a whole .25 seconds of deliberation, we decided to apply to adopt both of them (they get along so well, we hated the idea of breaking them up). We're supposed to go in tomorrow morning to have an interview with a lady from the Humane Society. Hopefully, she won't think we're horrible, incorrigible beasts and let us take them home.

I'm so exited! I had to tell somebody! Cross your fingers for us, please! :boing:

Personaly i can't stand cats.......im extremely allergic they cuase me to swell up and have trouble breathing ;) but good for you we need more people adopting animals there are to many unloved ones out there!!!

Aww, new babies!!! *coos* Don't forget to love them every chance you get and smack them (gently) on the butt every once in a while to remind them that they're loved. Trust me on this. Do it while you're petting them and you'll have a bond for life.

My mom is a cat person. She went somewhere on the docks in the city where she lives and found a little black kitten that was very sick, mommy cat must have died :ack: The vet said it wouldn't live because it only 3 weeks old. Mom got an eyedropper and fed it special formula. That cat survived because my mom and step dad literally nursed it to health. The cat is all grown up now....and rules the house!!! Just the other day he knocked her phone off the hook and speed dialed me. I answered the phone and only heard "meow"!!!! People like you who adopt animals are great. You're saving their life. now, i'm a dog person more than i am a cat person..but that picture is so damned cute. I love kittens, but i dont' care for cats unless they're affectionate (i've known some mean ass cats)
