I am living in what used to be my uncle's house and now belongs to my cousin. Uncle Bill was a really intelligent man before he began suffering from dementia. Like many brilliant people who develop dementia, he was able to hide it really well until the problem became a crisis. My cousin bought the house from him, and is in the process of restoring it. She had to rip out some of the walls because they were so badly damaged. We will be getting a loan soon to fix up the house but are trying to use as much salvage as possible to keep costs down, and because, like me, my cousin loves a funky, non-traditional country look. Any tips and advice would be welcome.
