I have the Rider Waite tarot card deck, and when ever I inquire about this certain boy I always get the same exact card, the wheel of fortune, no matter what the question is.
Some background info - About a year ago him and I had a little thing that never really went anywhere because he changed his mind all of a sudden. Now we have a silent agreement that we don't talk to one another and when ever we see each other we just stare.
My question is why do I always get this card, and what does it mean?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Cassiopeia. I'd say the reason you keep getting this card is that you keep asking the tarot about this person, that's pretty simple.
I would think that the way you keep getting the Wheel of Fortune when you ask about this certain person means that the relationship with him is over. Whatever lesson you needed to process from being involved with him has been learned and you are having trouble understanding it or you may be having a problem with releasing karmic feelings from a past life relationship with him. I hope this helps you understand.

Dear Cassie-
Hooray! You just learned another thing about tarot. That is - do not ask the same questions over and over. You ask the cards a question - they tell you the answer - finis! When you start asking the same question ( already answered), some people feel that the cards get bored or insulted, and after enough times they say 'What? I gave you the answer already! Aren't you listening?' In extreme cases, they even start giving you contrary advice.
Someone somewhere suggested that if you have to ask the same question, you should not do it again for a number of days that matches the number of the card...that is, if the card was the Nine of Swords, that you should wait at least 9 days before you ask the same question again. May or may not make a big difference, but it allows the universe and the powers that be to 'work on it.'
I agree, tho - the Wheel says that the wheel is turning and changes are coming, and forget this guy the relationship is history.

Just a thought. If you believe that every action changes the timeline, then everytime you ask the cards a question, the answer would be different depending on what actions had taken place since the last time you asked the question. For that reason, I don't worry about asking too many times because I think the cards will get bored. I don't do it because *I* get bored of asking the same thing over and over

Dear Medea,
Every day you make millions of decisions, most without even knowing that you did. Every decision you make will in some way change your future. However, some future events are not going to change course because you use Sweet and Low and today you used Equal instead.
When you wake up and ask the cards "Is my boyfriend cheating on me?" and at noon whip out the cards and ask 'Is my boyfriend cheating on me?' and after supper ask the cards 'Is my boyfriend cheating on me?' - the events that could happen in that short time period will not make a big dent. If he was faithful this morning, had a quickie at lunch, and was faithful that p.m., the cards will probably still say 'yes.' (and if you're that much of a control freak - he probably will cheat on you because you're a pain in the butt.)
I suggest you never ask the same question more than once a day.
