Reoccuring dreams

For the last few weeks almost every night i have had a dream where i am standing in a shallow stream with my boyfriend but then he climbs onto the bank and walks into the trees saying he'll wait for me by the hut (yet to discover what hut) then this HUGE longfin eel comes out from the opposite bank and starts slowly cruising around my feet. it carries on for a short while then there are 3 of them swimming around me. i crouch down n put my hand in the water and they take turns swimming past and i touch each one in turn. they are massive eels, at least 1.5mtrs n the width of a big mans thigh (but so it's so hard to tell in a dream).
I don't know what it means but the image of them swimming around me is so strong i can imagine it without closing my eyes. Are the eels significant somehow? I often have dreams that i think are important but i don't know how to figure them out...

The eels could be a sign that you're uncertain about things and can't feel secure about it, because you're surrounded by things that might be insecure. You could be doing something that isn't secure enough, or planned well. Eels represent water and slithering. Ask yourself if you think someone was being dishonest with you. Maybe the eels are showing you something else, like the fact you dreamt of them around you in the stream, it might be to do with your love life and opportunities that could pass you by.

I can't help but see the touching of the eels as a sort of facing fears. I don't know that it makes sense in the context of your life though.
