A very simple candle spell

I smoke. I know I know, baaad habit! I do not however, smoke in my home (I have three kids that I don't want to suffer or pick up my habit). I go out into my back room and light a candle to dispel the smoke. I started saying a little prayer as I lit the candle and I thought I would share it with you.

I light the candle and say "As I light this candle, may it illuminate my life, and the lives of those I love, blessed be!"

When I blow it out, I say, "As I extinguish this candle, may it extinguish all pain and suffering in my life, and in the lives of those I love, blessed be!"

Simple, to the point and always heartfelt. And believe it or not, in some small way, it works!

Oh thank you--I thought I was alone on the smoking deal!!
And at one time even though my profile says one child--that's living at home now I have three!
What is it about having three children that makes us smoke?8O
I too smoke outside.
