Mysticwicks Flyers!

I am looking for artists to design Flyers for the site for local pagan shops, pagan get togethers, and Festivals. It should express the artists feelings about the site, and also tell about the diversity of the site. Please sign or put your name somewhere on the flyer so that everyone who sees it will know who made it.
Whoever wins will get their flyer distributed at least all over NJ.
I may pick more than one flyer for distribution. :)

Hey, ya know what....I am thinking it could easily be distributed all over the world..literally! Let's see Freyja can do Claremore and Flar can do Talejhsgdfliugs (however it is spelled!)

Who else...step right up folks! Anyone know how to fly a plane? We could drop them over the world!

Or..we could just work on the design for now I guess!

I'm trying to keep it as an regular sheet of paper, to keep the costs of reprinting 100's of copies down a bit. ;)

8.5x11" would probably be easiest so that everyone signing up to distribute can print out thier own copy and such...also, it would be waaay less expensive to distribute if it could be black and white.

I'm carless, but I can paste 'em all over the train stations here! lol

How does your entry get submitted?

It might help our budding artists and flyer-makers to know a few things:

What must be included on the flyer (i.e. the name of the site, the URL, the subtitle "online pagan community"???)

Should it be single-sided so it can be glued to hydropoles, or two-sided and folded when finished?

Where should submissions be emailed? What formats (i.e. MS Word document, Powerpoint slide, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PDF, etc.?) Whoever is going to judge should probably pick a format that would be easy to distribute (I'd recommend a graphic format or PDF to eliminate the possibilities of spreading files with infections, as can happen with MS Word files, etc.)

Is there a deadline?

My last suggestion is that it might be good to recommend that if colour is used, a black-and-white version of the same thing should probably be submitted too as people out there (like me) who want to reproduce it locally for distribution can then have a choice between nice colour ones or nice quality black and white ones. Not all colour ones come out well if we end up printing them in black-and-white anyways because of limited money to spend personally on printing up flyers. It helps if the artist who made the colour one can do the black-and-white version too so it's done right.

Having a "contest" to get flyers is a great idea.

I'm loving this idea :D And IMO, it should be spread... ALL OVER!!! (meaning I'd consider spreading it where I live...). After all, it's online, and no specific place on some continent 5000 miles away ;)

Well´... IMO, this is a bad one (no creativity whatsoever, but I just HAD TO try this, hehe!)... but anyway, it's in Microsoft Publisher format, and there are two flyers on each A4. This is a print screen...

Hey, that's a great idea! There's a new Pagan shop opened up in our town (where FeatherGoblinglimmer, Jenet, Sianand_Flidais & I all live) and I'll make some up to put in there and our other pagan supplies shop!

When I've done some designs, I'll post them here to get the all-clear before printing them :D
