(Emy, thanks for the topic idea!)
What do you do with your decks of cards that you have "outgrown" or just don't "connect" with? Do you keep them? Do you give them to a friend and help them learn the tarot? Do you burn, bury or throw them away? Do you recycle and cut them up and use them in scrap booking?
Inquiring minds want to know.....what do you do with your cards when you don't feel the need to work with that deck anymore?

Well, I can tell you what I do with mine... I've only got two decks, Gill and cosmic, however I don't feel connected with cosmic anymore... so it just lays there in its drawer...
maybe I should give it away.... =)

Well, my first deck was Enchanted Tarot, but after I got the Robin Wood, I gave Enchanted to my husband. He doesn't really use them so they just sit in the drawer. Once in awhile I'll pull them out to compare cards when I'm studying card meanings.

What I have thought about, not actually done yet, is to take the major arcana and line them up in even rows of 5, w/2 left over, on a large piece of mat board, use spray adhesive to secure. Put the 2 leftover cards at the bottom left and right corners of your arrangement. Then attach something (whatever strikes your fancy...crystals, other artwork, name, etc) inbetween the 2 cards. Insert this into a shadowbox frame and secure. Would make a cool work of art. Also, there would be several different ways of arranging the cards on the mat board...hope this gives you all some ideas! :sunny:
