I had this dream about a baby alagator, it was about 3 feet long and it was on my back porch. We live on a lake. It opened it's mouth to make the hissing noise to warn me to stay away, ut instead a smaller whole alagator cam out of it's mouth. The seconf one went to open its mouth to hiss and a smaller one came ouit of that one's mouth!
What the hell is that about?
.
And I also keep having dreams about my ex. (my daughters father)
The dreams are ALWAYS sexual in nature, kissing fondling and such, and sometimes full blown sex...
And in the dream we are a couple.
I do not love him anymore, but I do have feelings for him, we were together for 4 years he we were each others first. That and if not for himj I would not have my Kylee.
So why now after 3 years without him am I having these dreams?

Have you had anyone 'take his place" lately, not so much in a sexual way, but in a manner of true companionship?

Aligators :eek not everything means something. Are you at all apprehensive of your young one being too near the lake do to potential predatory animals, such as maybe, an aligator?

There's a lot of threads on dreams in the Divination forum--you might be able to get some help there. :)

Just to put in my 2 cents:

It sounds to me like there are some unresolved issues from your past. The larger alligator could be a problem that you feel ready to confront, but the smaller one is something that you weren't expecting. Something that is in your way that you didn't realize was.

Could be related to your ex. Maybe something triggered a subconcious memory of him and that's why the dreams. I dream about my ex's all the time and sometimes I won't realize until a few days later that it was because of a song that I heard in the background of a movie or something trivial like that. Anything can trigger those kinds of dreams--funny how often it is sometimes the smallest things that do.

No I have had the alligator dreams for a long time, just never comming out of each others mouths.
No I do not have anyone to replace him, I have friends yes, but no one to like a partner. I have been single for 3 years.

a) what do alligators represent to YOU

b) have you looked up alligator and crocodile symbolism in animal spirit books (such as Animal Speak, Ted Andrews) or on websites (such as www.animalspirits.com) ?

c) have you looked through dream dictionarys for alligator and crocodile symbolism - if so, what resonated for you?

I was not afraid of the baby alligators, but in my past dreams they were huge and rainbow in color, one would be purple, one blue....
And the only fear I had was for my dog.
Alligators to me are neato-torpeado!
I have great respect for them, and I know they have been around for soooooo long. I cant imagine that they arnt something special.

from the animal site:

Alligator/Crocodile's Wisdom Includes:

Maternal protection

Connection to the earth mother

Protection from manipulation

Understanding deceit

Revenge through patience

Initiation

Understanding weather

Access to ancient knowledge

Is it possible that the alligator is my sprit animal instead of the ghost tiger I thought was my animal?
I have been dreaming of alligators for a long time.... I wonder..

That would depend on

a) what you consider a spirit animal to be and

b) whether the alligator fulfills that role.

No one can answer that for you.

Yep that sounds just like what I had in mind for my animal.
