Each of us is open to mystical experiences you may of seen God you may of seen an angel you may of heard a voice from a burning bush like Moses these are experiences that no doubt happened to you but cannot prove them, also they
may be experiences that happen intenally and as a pschologist may say because of an altering of your senses you believe them. Can Angels provide proof of themselves?

Yes I believe it possible the first of my experiences with angels occured one morning I was studying deeply the bible
and trying to interpret scripture for my book and I came upon a passage Rev 11 here it is

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
11:2
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

I was stuck for an interpretation I thought hard and long for a couple of hours and I knew if I did nt understand what was the passages significance I could nt continue with my work. Then ureeka I had a thought but I wasnt sure if it the correct interpretation. I sat down miserable and needed a cigarette and there was none in the packet I could nt even have a smoke. So I was desparate and so I went out down the news agents to get fags. Coming back at the entrance of my block of flats door I just looked down on the pavement and saw a screwed up piece of paper, I dont normally pick such things up but this piece of paper I did, when I unroled the page this is what it said

I'm not sure I quite understand your post (chalk it up to one of those fuzzy-brain days), but I do believe in angels.

It's really funny, because in a time when I am drawn strongly to Norse beliefs, I am also re-discovering a side of Christianity I never saw. It's almost like a pagan version of it, perhaps. Not so much do I belive in Jesus as the son of God, but I do believe in angels, and now in God (and Lucifer, as well). It's really interesting.

I'm not sure if an angel has visited me before, but if angels work through people, I am certain that I have been touched by their actions. *smiles*

Although I am not sure still what exactly an angel is. Or God for that matter. (though s/he fits in there somewhere with the other gods, that's for certain!)

Angels exist outside of Christian and Jewish belief. Sometimes they're even known by other names. Essentially I think angels are like spirit guides who do the work of the Divine.

Sometimes they are buffers too...

A few years back, I was driving, (I am a very good driver!) i was behind an 18 wheeler crossing with a green light, everyone was stopped like they should be and all of a sudden this truck came barreling at us!
And all of a sudden it stopped! *like someone had put up a hand to stop a toy car, in it's tracks...*

it scared the mess out of us, but the thing was, that the people in the truck had the oddest looks on their faces.

I have no doubt there were angels about.

I don't know that I've ever encountered an angel, but my father has a couple of times. Both times, they were incredibly helpful strangers that appeared and disappeared in the blink of an eye. :ghost:
