Sorry this took a little longer than expected, Rainx... I am also attaching an image of what the card layout looks like.

Root Chakra: Moon
Here we have the root chakra, this deals with what is affecting your sense of security. Since we have the Moon in this position, I would say that perhaps your relationships with women in your life might be making you feel a little uncomfortable. Perhaps a friend, or your mother or someone. I would also say that you might be feeling like something is being kept from you. You don't have all the information you need, or someone is keeping secrets. You might be fearing that someone has a hidden agenda.

Sacral Plexus: 5 of Swords (r) <-- that means in reverse
This represents the issues that are affecting your emotional well being. You might be worried about someone cheating you, or feeling like they've won by an unfair means. Or it could be that you are concerned that this is an action you may have to take yourself. Sort of like " the only way to get ahead is to stab someone in the back". This is causing you some emotional distress.

Solar Plexus: Ace of Cups (r)
Here we have your ability to stay centered with the Ace of Cups. You might be having a difficult time staying centered because of your emotional state. It's hard to concentrate when your feelings are in an uproar. If things are going poorly for you in that area right now, you may need to try to meditate and "get out of yourself" so you can get back in touch with your source of power and well-being.

Heart: 7 of Swords
The 7 of Swords has shown up in this position to comment on your ability to give and receive love. You might be having a hard time loving others because you feel you have been hurt before. So in your relationships (not just romantic ones) you may be keeping a part of yourself separate and not giving all of yourself to that relationship. You may also be having a hard time loving yourself right now. The old saying "you can't love someone else until you love yourself" is probably apropos here.

Here is your body's immune system. You might be going through a period of light depression, you're not exactly happy with what you've been doing. You've stopped some of your normal activities maybe. This card indicates that it's time to get back into action, start exercising and making your body work. You will sleep better and feel better not only physically, but emotionally as well.

Throat: 8 of Pentacles (r)
You might be having some doubts about your ability to communicate effectively with others. Either that or you've decided to stop trying to communicate your feelings and thoughts for a while. You might be feeling as though your opinions are not important, or that you can't phrase them so that people can understand them. All opinions are important and yours are no different! Time to get them out there and be heard!

Brow: 9 of Wands
Here you may want to take a closer look at your defences. Is it time to strengthen them? Or is it time to let some of them down a bit? Great rewards sometimes require great risks, and you can't risk anything (or gain anything) if you remain locked up in a tight little cage and don't allow anyone or anything in with you.

Crown: Strength (r)
The crown chakra position deals with your spirituality and your growth in that area. It appears that you may have some inner demons left to conquer before you can continue along your path. It's time to dig into those cobwebs in your head and find out how big those spiders really are... you can probably squish them pretty easily once they are out in the light of day. Time to regain control.

Hand: Magician (r)
You may be having a difficult time believing in yourself enough to be able to reach out and help others. But philanthropy is important to growth. We must help and heal others as well as ourselves. You may be feeling as though you aren't strong enough. And right now that may be true. Time to heal yourself ( you have the strength!) and then move on to others. But, Take care of you first.

Knee: Princess of Swords (r)
Moving forward in life can be a challenge for anyone. Here again we have a bit of a communication issue. Do you have a fear of speaking out and letting your voice be heard? A fear of public speaking? Maybe it's just a fear that you will be misunderstood and perhaps hurt someone's feelings that is keeping you silent. Old grudges and habits die hard.

Foot: Lovers
And finally we have the Lovers card telling you how to stay grounded. You have to love yourself. You need to make decisions that are best for you and not neccessarily try to please everyone else around you. Take care of yourself first and then everything else will begin to fall into place.

Root: 10 of Swords (r)
The root chakra position deals with issues of security. With the 10 of Swords in reverse I'm thinking that you might have a feeling that a bad situation is going to be over. But maybe you distrust it. Perhaps things look almost too good to be true. Or you may have the feeling that the reason you are suffering is because it makes you stronger. Or that you don't deserve happiness unless it is accompanied by pain.

Sacral: 7 of Swords
Your emotional well being is being affected by a sense that someone has taken something from you. Or perhaps they are not sincere with what they offer. Do you feel like you might be being cheated? Are you cheating someone else? You might be going through a period of looking back over things and seeing where you went wrong, and how you can avoid those mistakes in the future.

Solar: King of Cups
Someone once told me that when they saw this card in another person's reading they knew the woman had a drunk husband. I'm not sure why I just thought of that... does it make sense to you? This is affecting your ability to stay centered. It could be you or someone close to you, maybe a boss? Someone who usually seems like they are sympathetic and listening to you. Perhaps this person has become a distraction.

Heart: 4 of Cups (r)
The heart chakra position indicates your ability to give and to receive love. Here we have a restlessness about you. You are a bit bored and you need something new to do. Have things seemed to have a grown a bit stale (not only in your love life) and you need a new outlet for your creativity? I also wonder if maybe you've been feeling tired alot.... sort of a "sick and tired of feeling sick and tired" thing.

Thymus: 10 of Cups (r)
Your immune system is being affected by your surroundings. Is there alot of stress in your family life right now? It's not that you don't love your family, but maybe you feel like you need a little vacation. Sometimes our kids (not sure if you have kids) literally make us sick by bringing home their germs to us. This may also be paired with the 10 of Wands, maybe it's time to use the Magician's resources to find yourself some helping hands!

Knee: Ace of Swords (r)
You're having a problem moving forward, maybe because you don't have any ideas on where forward might be. You might have a bit of a brain fog, you have so much to do that you can't even think straight. Perhaps some meditation is in order, clearing of the mind can lead to clearing of the other clutter in your life.

Foot: 6 of Wands (r)
The problem here again, is that you aren't receiving any recognition for your efforts. You've been doing so much but it seems as though no one has noticed. Root: 2 of Wands (r)
Do you have a problem with crowds? The root chakra addresses your sense of security. You could be having some fears that you are dropping the ball. Or maybe that someone is forcing you into a situation you don't want to be in right now. You might be feeling backed into a corner. You also might be feeling a bit disappointed in the outcome of a situation or project, it all seems a bit anti-climactic right now.

Emotionally you're feeling stronger now. You feel as though you've let go of the issues that were a problem for you. Or most of them anyway. You've probably made some serious effort to get to the point you're at. If there is a new interest in your life, you need to trust your instincts. Is money a concern for you right now? It seems like you are worried about your future and probably the present too. Maybe you should invest some money or start trying to put some away for that rainy day. This card isn't always about greed, it's about financial planning too.

Emotionally you may be feeling backed into a corner. Has someone given you an ultimatum? Or do you feel like you have to give someone else one? Looks like you can hold your own here, but be careful of that rock behind you. Stand up for what you know is right.

Solar: Ace of Pentacles
Your ability to stay centered might have something to do with the money issue again. Are you one of those people (like me) that money burns a whole in your pocket? LOL You enjoy having money and what it can bring you, but you really should start thinking in terms of the future intstead of instant gratification. Roots: Yes, money is a concern for me as I am trying to purchase a house to get out on my own.

Sacral: I feel somewhat backed into a corner by my husband (soon to be ex-husband).

Solar: yes, I am that type of person and yes, I have started looking at the bigger picture and what my goals are and curbing my spending:D (my you ARE good!!!!)

Heart: I do hat to say no to friends and family when they are in need but am learning to do it anyway when I feel my plate too full. Tough love? That would be pertaining to my 16 year old who thinks he's 30! :rolleyes:

As far as the pentacles go... in a more "divinatory" sort of reading they might indicate that you would be coming into money... but since this is more of a "self" reading, I think it just means that you are occupied with money and physical things right now.

Maybe with the Throat and the 5 of Wands it's holding your tongue when you really want to say something nasty? LOL I do that all the time!

Hi Cydira! So happy you like the deck, I made it myself... lol. Actually my business partner Sherry and I were working on it. Eventually the minors will be illustrated as well. It's a nice change from the usualy CC or "future" type spreads. Sometimes it's like taking a pill though, LOL You may not have wanted to know some things! First off, I have to ask: Does the #8 mean anything to you? Maybe as in a time frame for something? 8 days, weeks, months, August? Is your life path number (numerology) or anything an 8? Just think it's important for some reason.

Root: 8 of Cups
Do you feel like you have a choice to make? Like maybe you have come to a crossroads? Maybe you feel as though you have to do something that you don't really want to do, like someone has given you an ultimatum. You have to follow a path that you don't neccessarily want to be on? And possibly that's scary because you are afraid that if you don't really "love" it then you won't do well on it.

You might want to take a look at the basis of your relationships. What are your relationships about when you boil them all down? Trust? Love? Make sure you have a solid foundation there to hold you up!

Duality. This sounds kind corny.. but you have to realize that duality is an illusion... it's all connected and it's all us and we are all one. Also, a good partner or friend can be extremely grounding. They keep us from putting our heads too high in the clouds, ;) .

While some of the reading made alot of sense to me, some of it just confused me. <shrugs> Of course, what else is new? :D

You're pretty accurate about the difficulties in relationships, mainly with my family and mostly my mother. I've been doing alot of thinking on that one, even losing sleep. :P

With the number eight, I've got no idea. I think I had a numerology reading and my life path number was seven. <shrugs> A part of me is saying that it could be important because it's a double of four, which is signifigant in grounding and dealing with the material world. My mind then jumps to the fact that I've been having some money troubles. <shrugs> I don't know. :)

It's interesting that the card for the Crown point is Strength. I've had several people tell me that it is one of the cards that works as a signifier for me, that and temperance. <shrugs> I'm still working on trying to understand some of these things. :) But that's life too! lol

Root: 2 of Wands (r) - hopefully the (r) is for reverse or upside down? I have very little sense of security in my life, not for years. Pegged me real good on that on.

Sacral: Strength - Pegged again. I am starting to belive in myself and in the decisions (sp) I make good or bad, right or wrong. I have not believed in myself or trusted my instinct (since I was in my early teens. And I like where I am at the moment, still a lot of work to do, work in progress.) :-)

Solar: 6 of cups - My past full of abuse and tragedy and I try to be wise (my last name too) and my late husband always complained of me living in the past.

Heart: 3 of wands - Very, very true!!!! Not even a hair off!!!

Thymus: Lovers - Again, the nail is hit!!!

Throat: Sun (r) - Very true of me!

Brow: 2 of swords (r) - Yes, true all of it.

Crown: 6 of swords - Am working on that oar stroke, but the current is strong.

Hand: 9 of cups - I am a hugger not a shaker, I believe that affection is an extinct emotion in this world today.

Knee: King of pentacles - Dunno on this one. But there is no man in my life now.

Foot: King of swords - I think of everyone else, and do not consider myself. Thinking with my heart is the only way I have dealt with life.
