Anyone who has ever delt with a kid

Hello just asking for those of you that have ever delt with a kid or ever was a kid or still is a kid to step into the Pagan Family Forum. We are seeking ideas on what to tell a child about paganism and our paths. We are also seeking ideas on what to do with children during the times when they aren't at school. These threads are to be part of our reference threads for parents and sitters and teachers ect...... to come back to and use for a long time to come. We have had some great posts so far but the majority of you haven't posted. Don't be shy voice your opinions.

You have helped me so now i must try my hardest to help you. Telling someone about your religion. Especially if it is not one that is widely known, is tough. Lie telling someone your gay or Bi tough. I should know this. But the bottom line is, your thoughts about what would happen are usually just fear, when you say it Your point gets across and it was as if it were an everyday thing.
BUt something I must plee of you is ask her this. What do you feel you should practice, in the religion sense. NEver force your religion on your kids. If you want you child to be happy then let them find their own. SO many kids that i have known have hated their parents for forcing religion on them. That is just my honest opinion. It is perfectly okay to raise your child in a religion from birth. But not to force it on them when they are older and have a more working mind that could decide for themselves. I hope I got my point across. it is so hard to express your feelings, when you have so much to say. Especially to an adult.

This is one place that as long as you are respectful of others thoughts opinions and feelings you can say just about anything. We need to hear how the younger people feel. What you have to say is just as important this is your community too.
