How do i find my wiccan name? Or is there even such a thing?could you guys help me?

Hi, and welcome to the forum. :wave: Since you're new here you might not be familiar with our search function - with over 4,000 users over a period of a few years, as you can imagine many subjects have been discussed and rehashed a few times. Magical names is one of those subjects.

And here's the short answer - a magical (not necessarily Wiccan, though you might call it that if you're Wiccan, a lot of non Wiccan people have magical names) is one that you choose for yourself. You might;

a) keep it to yourself
b) use it only in your coven
c) use it online, or in any Pagan community
d) use it everywhere

To find it, you might;

a) pick the name of a crystal, flower, etc. that you like, or several that you like and mix the words up
b) be given it in meditation
c) be given it by the God/dess in a ritual, or your coven, or elders, etc.
d) choose it by pendulum or other divination method
e) use numerology to find a name that is in tune with your birth number

You might simply take it and use it one day, do a ritual to take it on, or be *given* it in a ritual by your elders, coven, or deity. You might keep the same name forever, for a short period and then change, or might add words to your name as they seem fit.

Some people keep their name sacred by not sharing it with just anyone, some don't give it out because they see it as a vital connection to themself that they don't want people to have. Some just use it whenever they want.

and you can also have more than one.

I have my name here that everyone sees and is more a "fun" name, but I also have one that I keep to myself that was given to me during several meditation sessions, and one that relates to my familiar. Several of my friends have more than one. I think it just depends on what you're comfortable with.
