Carridwynn, cute dog! Hockey players...woo-hoo! We have a little hockey man in the house right now. So far he plays in the kitchen but we are going to get him signed up on a pee-wee league soon.

The hockey player in the pics is my hubby, Nala and I are the poor souls trapped in the endless world of minor league hockey living. LOL Gotta love it when the season ends though.. Lets us have a "home" for a few months anyway. :nyah:

About your son playing, getting him in pee-wee at this young of an age is a great idea! And he'll have so much fun too!!

Rick has played for numerous CHL, WCHL, and ECHL teams the past 6 years. He retired after last season only to have the itch to play again half way through the season this year. He played in the CHL for the Odessa Jackalopes for a bit this year and now we're concentrating on going back full time next season (not to Odessa, not sure exactly where yet). So much for having a permanent home. :p I really don't mind though, been pretty bored (i'm American and we're currently in Canada so i'm not able to work.)

Wait a sec, I just realized.. Semele are you guys in OKC? I thought I remembered seeing somewhere on here that you were.. I could be wrong though. Anywhoo, Rick's first season was with the Blazers back in 1996-1997. Small world!! :)

I have 2 rats and a guinea pig. the piggy was given to me a few months ago and i think we've finally started liking each other.

Here's a piccie of my Kazi. She's my original buuuuuuddy. She got into trouble by getting ahold of my mom's kolanapin once (spelled wrong, I know). Luckily, she survived. Rats were build to survive those kinds of things though. She's all white 'cept her head which has that off black type color. She has a little spot on her back that's the same color and a little spot in the same place 'cept on her tummy. It's painfully cute.
Anyhow... you can just SEE the look of curiosity on her face. "WHY are you sticking that thing in my cage??":

Scsi this time. She's my 2nd rat. She's my little acrobatic rat. She impresses me on a weekly basis. She's also my little hudini ratty. She's got the black all over her head that goes down her back as a black stripe, then white everywhere else.

I really like rats, they are why cleaner them mice or gueania pigs. My first rat was Ratfink, my second was Ratfink two and so forth to five.....I have too many cats now to have another Ratfink, to bad because they are so friendly and very entertaining.

Well, since my "other" babies got put on the family thread, I've got to add the "fur" babies!! We've got Bruce, our Chesapeake Bay/Lab/Golden Retreiver mix. Then there's Jenna, our Siberian Husky who we have to find a new home for...:geez: She's not into multi-species families...We've also got Sammy, our Siamese mix cat. There's Gracie, the tabby; "The kittens" Georgia and Bella and then our newest addition, Merlin (I think that's what we're going to call him), the white one. All of our fur babies are rescues. If anyone in Washington State or Idaho would like to give our Sibe a good home WITHOUT cats or anything other than kids & dogs, please PM me. She doesn't do cats~she's killed 4. :geez:

As most of you know, my baby is a camera-ham. Having pulled apart my webcam (several times), mugged it up for my digital, my film cam and my video cam the biggest problem that I have with her is when I'm trying to take pics of my jewelry for my site. She's always got to get in the photo some how!

So, after I learned my lesson, I rigged up a way to take the pics while keeping her occupied at the same time. I take a notebook and rest the cover on her treat cup...I take the pics of the jewelry on one side while she snacks on the other not realizing that the camera is out.

HOWEVER, she's gotten wise to the fact that I'm trying to trick her and I've got several of her peeking around the notebook trying to check out what's happening on the other side....thus the pics below. The last one is one of my absolute favorites of her and you may remember, has been my AV on several occasions--you can see she's smiling when it's full sized! (Oh and note that you can spot the tops of the earrings in them too to prove that I'm not joking about this! :lol: )

These are my babies and a friends baby...the large one is named D.O.G. (pronounced "dee-O-gee) of course, as you can see he is a Great Dane. I acquired him in January at the age of 16 months, when the family had to move in with one of their parents due to alzheimers. It was either me or they were taking him to the animal shelter :( (and he lives in the house!) The middle sized one if Morpheus, I have had him since he was 6 weeks old, hes a bull mastiff/american pit bulldog with a little chow mixed in somewhere, the littlest of the three is Biscuit, she is a 7 week old Dauschaund.

Yep.... it's rare, but sometimes she does, you have to have a toilet that it not used by humans and then there is this kit you buy that puts the cat box on the toilet and you SLOWLY cut away from the center, it takes about a month or two to totaly get them use to it and it won't work if you have more then one cat.... but yeah, once in a while she will use it.....
