wand help

i wanted to know if anyone has info on a list of trees and their spiritual properties? i want to make a wand from a tree in my yard. it's a beautiful tree called a "katelpa" (forgive the spelling. i spelled it phonetically since i'm not sure) tree. i've read about your traditional hardwoods but can't find this one on any list. any help would be appreciated. thanks!!!!!!!!

We have a lot of catalpa trees in this part of the country. Oddly, I never wondered about the spiritual qualities of this tree. I used Google.com to search for those qualities and found these two sites, I hope you find this info helpful.

as they are alive, differant plants will have differant energies regardless of species, at least to a degree.

Why don't you just wonder about a wooded area and see if any tree calls to you. Maybe even attempt communication with some trees?
