Between the links given and the posts people left the answers are there.
Or the short answer, if you prefer, the use of computers and networks in conjunction with magic and spirituality. That is, using software, the internet, etc. in ritual and spellwork etc.

Oh, and thinking of people like Erik Ostrom, Pavel Curtis, Walter Bright, Linus Torvolds, etc as demi-gods helps too. :D

Also, some people expand the definition to mean simply the spirit of improvisation and flexibility in Pagan practice that includes the use of ALL and ANY technology in rituals and spells. Using an electric fan in your East Quarter, or a placing yourself so that a water faucet is in your West Quarter, using modern items like keys and credit cards as talismans, using a typewriter to create your book of shadows, etc.

Not meaning to be condescending in ANY way, but the thought of technopaganism sorta confuses me. Consider, for example, implementing technology into the wheel of the year and the symbolism it represents, would you get a God of the Lightbulb and Goddess of the Nightlight (being symbolic of the Sun and Moon, respectively), or am I totally on the wrong track with this train of logic?
Pardon my idiocy, it's daylight and I am sleepy. :o

The wheel of the year and sun and moon aren't fundamental concepts of Paganism, and there's no reason to try to force things into them.
As you can probably imagine, technopaganism would have less to do with nature and more to do with man-made modern technology.

Doesn't Mysticwicks have its private altar? Isn't that technopaganism in itself?

Sure. That's one thing you can do that marries technology with paganism - using the internet and computers to create sacred space. Other things you could do might be storing spells on the computer, doing rituals in a chatroom, setting up a screensaver with a meditative symbol or statement, and so on.

would that be techreligion or computerism?
"Oh dear computer,
I ask of thee,
hear my plea,
and increase your virtual memory."
LoL.
