Cleaning (caution: RANT)

Ever get those days where you just clean and clean (even for just 15 minutes at a time) and nothing ever comes of it? Ever get those ROOMS that just never seem to get clean?

You clear a spot and think you have a place that's going to stay clear.. but you don't. You have to move other stuff there to clean another clear spot.. until you're turning circles in your room!

This goes for the whole house. From my room, to the kitchen, the guest rooms, and the livingroom. I just can't do this by myself, but I can't ask hubby to help me because he's always working.

I just don't know what to do. I'm stuck!

Any way you could hire a cleaning service maybe once a month to help you?

It actually sounds like you have too much stuff. You may want to consider going through a game of "Keep or Chuck?" in each room. And if you don't want to keep something, but you don't want to throw it away, you should try to sell it at a yard sale or else give it away to charity.

I really hate that when it happens... For me that signals its time to get rid of clutter. With a hubby, 2 daughters, and 4 cats I feel like I never get a spot cleared without someone filling it up again. :( You just dont have enough space for your stuff... at least that is what it sounds like to me.

I know I have too much stuff. I collect things. I still have barbies from my childhood! I'm keeping the stuffed animals for my children and things, but I don't know what to do with the hard plastic toys.

I did that game with my clothes.. and I have a box of clothes in the car to go to Goodwill. I have a hubby, 2 cats, and a dog.. and it's mainly the dog that I have to clean up for, besides myself. I don't want her to chew on everything.

I guess I could go through everything again.. I just need some help. I have a friend that's a professional cleaner. I can ask her how much she charges.

I just wish I had friends around me that could come over and help me to clean while hubby's at work. It would be a nice surprise. :)
