Hello all i made this forum to help each other
My father is an alcoholic

I have in my family, an older brother who's a recovering alcoholic from his teen years, my dad is in recovery, my grandparents were alcoholics (they've since passed) and the woman my father is married too is a knock-down, pill-popping addict drunk.

And people wonder why i am the way I am.

When my bro was in rehab, I went to alanon meetings and continued for a while because of my Dad. My son now attends a weekly session that helps him with various issues as well as dealing with a family member that's an alcoholic/addict.

*whew* You'd think I'd be an expert on the subject, but I'm not. I have adopted the motto of "one day at a time" though. Sometimes it's the only way to get by. Please post a link and I will go visit your forum. :D
