Newcomer to Pagan Festivals

I'm really excited because there's a Pagan Pride festival coming to Minnesota in September! I've never been to a real pagan gathering (unless you count the reniassance fest.). So those of you who have been to one, what are they like? What is your favorite thing to do at a Pagan fest? Got any tips for a new bee?

My favorite festival thing: the people, the atmosphere, the drumming, the food. Did I mention drumming? :D

Sorry to say I haven't been to any pagan festivals... not too many of those in sweden I'm afraid... however I would love to go if there was one... and I wish you a great time there :)
