My rabbit Aubie died this morning. :wah:

We're pretty sure it was of old age, I mean he was over six years old. I don't think it's really sunk in that Aubie is gone. I haven't even cried yet. He was my last link with Lilly and my favourite pet after Merlin. He was good looking, intelligent and wise. He was the Patriarch of our backyard. Now he's gone.

This will sound weird but I'm disappointed I didn't get to see the body. I think I just wanted that one last hug before I let him go, that final confirmation that Aubie is infact gone. He died before I woke though and by the time I'd gotten up he'd already been buried.

Poor little baby. :( Blessings, Aubie. Say hello to our Mother for me.

{{{She-Arna}}} At least he's safe in the Mother's arms now. I'm sure he lived a happy, peaceful, fun life.
