Court cards - the stages of an adventure

Page - Beginning of a wave

Knight - The height of a wave

Queen - The brake or crest of a wave

King - The breaking and rolling of a wave

Page - Someone embarking on an adventure, the child, the start of something, new beginnings, messages, etc. In addition to representing a child or immature adult, it can represent all types of messages like telephones, the mail, e-mail, paging systems, etc.

Knight - Person who has reached physical maturity but who lacks seasoned wisdom.

Similar to someone going through their first Saturn Return. Knights are action-oriented and pure energy. It could also represent an event such as a move or relocation.

Queen - Examination of foundations, recapitulation, backing up and probing. Similar to a mid life crisis, represents inner mastery, feminine power, the nurturer.

King - Full wisdom and maturity, person who has reached a peak, power, in control. Authority figure, status. Deeper testing going on; someone facing their own mortality.

Wow! For those of you that are also interested in I-Ching, check out this site. It tells how to read the I-Ching, with a deck of tarot cards. ;)

:crazy: Ive read that through twice now and still dont get it at all ~ Is it me or is it hard? ~ dont know much about the I-ching..maybe I should read up on it.

I haven't tried it yet, but I do have some (minimal) knowledge of the I-Ching. The site doesn't give you the interpretations.

You will need to know, or have access to a book about the I-Ching. There are several Hexegrams though that have a top and bottom and that is where the interpretation comes in. Lake, Mountain, Water, Earth, Wind, Fire, Air....etc. I can't remember the entire list off the top of my head.....and my book is at home. Anyways, there are tons of combinations! Like fire/mountain, air/lake...water, wind....etc.I think I will post this link in the divinations forum as well. I think it's more suitable there. :D

Really here, you are reading the I-Ching, and not the Tarot. (But since it uses tarot cards, I posted it here) Conventionally, the I-Ching uses coins or yarrow sticks. You toss them, and they land either yin or yang.....and that is what you interpret. (not the cards themselves). ;)
