I've lost my job. We got a new managing editor and a new city editor, and it was clear from the moment they arrived a few months ago that they were there to clean house. They fired or drove out many good people, almost all of the senior staff.
So, now I'm adrift, looking for the next step. I'm certain, Goddess willing, I'll get another job. But I could use a little energy.
