Found a morning meditation that i just have to share with you! Well it written by Iona Rosin, all the credit to her, it is from her website at fly.to/iona, but since it is in swedish I'll try to translate this meditation for you. :)
Sit down and breathe deeply.
Say to yourself (aloud or just within yourself..): Good morning (your name), welcome to a new day.
Reply: Thank you!
Wake up your inner light. Visualize and feel how a "ball of light" shapens and awakens in your solar plexus. Every time you breathe in it grows larger, fills your body more and more with its light. Feel the light of love, fortune and joy. Feel how it fills your entire body with positive qualities. The more the light fills you, the lighter you feel, like you were a balloon filled with helium. Take your time, the light may not flame up immediatley. Concentrate. Make sure that the light is flowing thrue your entire body, thrue every arm, leg, finger and toe. And all this time you know that the light begins from solar plexus. It is from there the energy comes. If you like tell yourself: I am worthy joy, all happiness, I am worthy to glow and shine like the sun.
The source of true joy and happiness is your own strength, and your own strenght comes from the love you have for yourself. Allow yourself to love yourself. Apprieciate yourself. Know that you are a good person, a person worthy of joy and happiness.
When the light has grown and you feel that it has reached your entire body, start to smile. Just a little bit at first. Keep on smiling with every breath you take. Smile more and more, smile so that your teeth shows. It might feel strange sitting around smiling to yourself but never mind that, allow yourself to have a little fun. Breathe out... feel that you are radiant. It is a new day and you are as fresh and as clear as the morning dew.
You have welcomed love, joy and happiness into your life, without that no love, joy and happiness can reach you.
Open your eyes, and start to laugh. This can be rather hard to do, but just do it no matter how silly it sounds. One can, you see, trick oneself to be happy. When you laugh there are signals sent to it saying that you are happy. Your body and muscles can trick yourself into feeling happy. And your brain says, that you must be happy, because you are laughing. You'll be surprised to see what effect this has.
Then just keep the day going as usual, however feeling lighter and happier. And whenever you are feeling down and sad, do this meditation... but also try to do it if not every morning, at least a few times a week.
