Hey people share your favorite recipies for when you are in a hurry. Lets go for the simple stuff that only takes one or two pans. Crockpot recipies would be great!

Okay, this is my contribution for "on-the-go" recipes...
Crock pot roast... 8O
Place the following in the crockpot:
1 Beef roast
2 - 3 onions cut in half
4 - 5 carrots cut into pieces
2 - 3 potatoes cut in quarters
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can of water
Cover and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or on low 7 - 8 hours.
Enjoy! :)

Okay, since noone else has contributed, I guess I'll add another one... Really, even though this has SPAM in it, it's really good! :D
Pizza Burgers
2 lbs. ground beef
1 can of SPAM
1 1/2 lbs. shredded colby / mozarella
1 tsp. oregano
8 - 12 oz. pizza sauce
1 onion
hamburger buns
Chop SPAM and onion. Brown ground beef. Mix all ingredients together. Spread on hamburger bun halves and bake 12 minutes at 450 degrees.
Tip: You can make extra meat mixture ahead of time and freeze. Just thaw and spread on buns and bake. Great for quick dinners / snacks for kids.

Tortellini with ham and peas.
Boil one bag of tortellini, cheese filles.
In another saucepan, saute a bit of garlic and onion until soft. Throw in some ham. You can use deli ham, ham steak, leftover ham from a dinner, whatever you have on hand. Saute a few more minutes. Add a jar of alfredo sauce ( I like Ragu Cheese Creations Lite Alfredo) and some frozen peas. Heat through while the tortellini boils. Toss together and pray that the picky kids will eat :p

My fav pasta sidedish recipe...
1/2 cup olive oil
crush garlic (as much as you like)
1/4 cup peanuts, crushed in a plastic bag
1/4 tsp oregano
1 tbsp chopped basil
salt & pepper to taste
Mix together & let sit while pasta is cooking.
Cook up 4 cups pasta (doesn't matter what kind). Toss with oil mixture, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top & serve with whatever else you're having. Great with leftovers when you're in a hurry.

2 cans of Pilsbury biscuits (I like Buttermilk Grands-the big ones)
1-2lbs. of ground beef or pork
1 can of sloppy joe mix (or 1 packet of dry mix+1can tomato sauce)
shredded cheddar
Brown meat and add sloppy joe mix. Put biscuits in muffin tins and spoon meat into each. Top with some shredded cheddar and bake using the biscuit directions.
Super easy and DELICIOUS!!!!!

Unsloppy Joes
Recipe By : Real Food for Real People
Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Main Dish Vegetarian
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
3 cups Spaghetti Sauce -- (no sugar added kind
1 cup Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP)
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Vinegar
3 dashes Mrs. Dash seasoning
24 squares Saltine Crackers
Pour sauce into large sauce pan and start to cook at medium heat. Add all
ingredients except crackers and stir well. The TVP will take about 5-10
minutes to absorb the sauce. When it gets completely moistened and has taken
in most of the juice, crumble the crackers and add them to the pan.
These are great served on buns like traditional Sloppy Joes, or on split
rolls of your choice.

I took this from the Weight Watcher's cookbook. I make it a lot, and my son likes it too (which is good because he's a fussy eater)
It's a recipe for pork chops:
2 pork chops
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of mustard (use any type you want, i've done it w/dijon and golden comes out nice either way)
pepper
salt
Red onion slices
Pre heat oven to 350. mix soy sauce, mustard, pepper and salt together. brush on pork chops, both sides. Then cover each chop w/bread crumbs. Add a red onion slice to each, bake in oven for 30 min.
