Prayers For My Pooch.

The other day my mom and I noticed that my dog couldn't walk right... she stumbled everywhere she went and always has her head cocked to the side. I figured maybe she had an ear infection, hence the lack of balance. My mom took her to the vet. Turns out she had a stroke. If she has another one we're going to have to put her down. She's doing pretty well considering, she's still eating and drinking normally and still waddles around the house making a sport out of getting in our way.

Still, some energy would be appreciated. I don't want her to go through that again. :(

Does the vet know what (if anything?) caused the stroke? Can or have they put her on meds?

I know with dealing with Bubba's cancer we gave him meds for the cancer, plus high fat & protein foods (not just doggie food-which I found is really not as good as food you cook for your furbabies).

It doesn't hurt to check into holistic treatments either.
