I hate to ask for energy but I am stressing a bit. I have two medical crap-things going on and am getting sent for what seems like millions of tests. I have been having chest pain on and off for well over a month so I am off for blood work, EKG, nuclear stress test, chest x-ray and gallbladder ultrasound. The other problem is female related and already had an ultrasound and now have to have a sonohystogram (which doesn't sound like much fun) as the dr is looking for uterine polyps or possibly a hormonal/endometrial problem. Oh joy.
I am stressing since this is the last thing I need but I need to find out why I am feeling so lousy.
And as you are sending energy can you send some caffeine to go with it? I have a fasting test this morning and one tomorrow too. And boy do I miss my coffee!!!:caffeine:

*sending calming, comforting energy to Chryssi as she waits for word on her worrisome test results*
I have a friend who who was having chest pain and had stress tests done and all that. She'd had angioplasty done a few years ago and was afraid that it needed to be done again. Then she re-read the info that comes with all her prescription meds and stopped taking the one that prevents incontinence. Presto, the heart pains went away. So she has to go to the bathroom more often now, everything is a trade-off eh.
There is a blood test they can do to make sure the female problems aren't changing into cancer. My sister had an ovarian cyst which changed to a fast-growing cancer. If only her ob/gyn had scheduled this simple test she could have had surgery before the cyst burst open, leaking cancer cells into her abdomen. I'm not sure if uterine polyps pose the same threat but in your shoes I'd ask the doctor about it. Take care kiddo.

((((((((((((Chryssi)))))))))))))))))))) good luck and lots of energy sent your way. Tell us how the tests come out if you feel comfortable doing so. And when you get the nuclear stress test, if you don't mind, let me know how that goes. My Dad is supposed to get one soon, too. I don't know what's involved..
Best of Luck, and Lotsa energy to deal with the rigors of all those tests!

Thanks for all of your thoughts and energy. So far all of the tests have been coming back normal. Which of course is great news, but doesn't help me find out why I feel crappy.
I have the last test, a two day nuclear stress test Monday and Tuesday, and then I go back to the dr's to find the next step.
Danu, I'll post back on Tues to let you know what the stress test entailed and you can let your dad know.

Chryssi- Thanks for remembering me and my dad. But he already had his nuclear stress test done. He really didn't tell me much about it, so unfortunately, I can't really give you any info :( Sorry hon. My dad is like that. Doesn't like to talk about what happens at the Dr's. But..he did say that it wasn't too bad. Whatever that means
And, I hope your results are as positive as my fathers were. His doctor has said he's in great condition for having had such a massive heart attack. His heart muscle is functioning at 73%..which is actually VERY good. And the circulation is great as well. They've released him to go back to work on Monday! (I still think it's a little too early..but Doctors know best).
So... Good luck on your test. I hope they find out why you are not feeling well...and I hope that it is something easily diagnosed, and treated. Best of luck, and health to you. Let us know how you make it through.
I'll be thinking of you and sending you lots of energy!

Although it sounds like you're going through alot, I'm glad that you're following through since last time we talked you were procrastinating on getting to the doctor. Sending healing energy for a positive outcome!
Just saw your last post and wanted to add - just about all of my tests come back normal. Tests showing rheumatoid arthritis and possible leukemia were what finally determined that I have fibromyalgia. There are still quite a few doctors who don't believe in this syndrome. If your tests continue to be normal and you continue to feel lousy, please suggest this to your doctor and get a referral to a rheumatologist if possible.

energy being sent Chryssi
at least if the heart tests are normal it means u dont have heart disease, and while they havent found out whats wrong with u yet to look on the bright side it isnt that!
