Okay, when I woke up, the dream was still fresh on my mind, but seeing as I've been awake for over four hours now, it's already starting to slip my mind, so bare with me.

It was night-time throughout the whole dream. Most of it took place in the city, but the sky was covered in stars. My earliest memory in this dream is handing a baby over to its angry mother. She was angry because I, for some reason, wasn't fit to hold it. Like, I was dangerous or something. I remember she had reason to be angry, though.

The woman's husband was also angry at me, but I really can't remember much about him. All three of us, as well as a scattered group of what seems to be party animals, are standing outside a local 24 hour taco shack. However, there are several thick, white pillars holding up an awning of some sort outside of the shack. Kind of like the kinds you would see in Rome or Greece or wherever.

After that little scene, I found myself walking down an urban street, still at night (but the stars are gone now). I'm walking with a girl, she's kind of husky and has shaggy black hair that comes down to her jawline. I'm pretty sure this relates to an actual event in my life, which was exactly the same as in the dream except I was with a different girl.

We keep walking until we reach another bustling part of town. The people here are still scattered, but a lot more mellow. The area is circular and bordered by stone steps and small, brick walls. As we walk into the area, both o us are playing Jim Bay drums that are being carried by shoulder straps.

I go to meetings similar to this in real life, called drm circles. However, the area I go to is a lot bigger and usually more people are there.

Anyway, for some reason, I'm dressed up in this weird maroon/black robe. A character from a video game (Auron fo Final Fantasy X, for you gamers out there) wears something very similar. I'm getting some great sounds out of my drum, although in real life I'm not so great.

Most of this dream seems to be randomly collected memories, but a couple of things still bother me about it.

First of all, what's with the first part of the dream? The part with the angry parents (who like nothing like my own, BTW)?

And the girl I was walking with... I've never met anyone that looks like that.

Sorry for such a long post, but it was a long dream. Oi... I'm tried...

Just at first glance, I got that the baby and the parents symbolize something that you are taking or using that may not be yours to keep. Your words, "not fit to hold it" bring to mind that this may be something that either isn't yours, or something that you do need but are not spiritually ready to accept or use. The parents may be your guides giving you a message - what I'm getting is that you know what you need to do and are procrastinating or refusing to listen.

What I get from the rest of the dream is that the route to ready yourself for this gift is open and available to you. The girl may be someone who can get you there, either someone you already know or that may enter your life soon, and that you should keep your eyes open. The drums indicate to me that drumming may be a tool that can also be used both in the circles you attend or by yourself to cleanse and ready your spirit - it can be an incredibly powerful tool.

Just a quick reading, not necessarily right or wrong.

I do have a number of problems, but I don't think I'm procrastinating. I make it a point to fix my problems.

Oh, and I dunno how you're reading this, but I'm not writing it in a harsh, accusing, or "you're wrong" tone. I'm just saying.
