Well, I need some pagan friends that can help me. Because my family would not except me if they found out that I was a pagan.

You're in "the broom closet", meaning you're not openly pagan. Maybe there are some pagans where you live?

I can't be openly pagan because I would most likely get kicked out of the house. The only person I can be pagan with is my mom, but she lives in Columbus, Texas and I live in Austin,Texas.

how feasible is it for you to change where you live? I know there are considerations like time and money. Austin is a big town, I'm sure there are other pagans there. Maybe you should begin planning for a move.

In the meantime, spend a lot of time at this website for moral support.

clc, I understand your situation as I am in a similar one. My husband would not understand so I am also in the broom closet. The only place I can be open is here on MW! or during my private time (when and if I have it) at home. Or I will walk alone to the woods and share it with nature :D If I can help in someway, please feel free to ask...

Nissala, I'm impressed. . . **soft smile** I don't think I could live with someone who couldn't accept up-front that I'm Pagan. 'Course, granted, people change. . . if Wanderer went all Christian fundamentalist on me all of a sudden, I'd have a difficult time with that, too. ;)
Anyway, clc, why do you say your parents wouldn't accept it? Have you tried to breech the subject with them?

I am basically here to look for friends who can help me through this. I can't do it on my own.

I know me grandparents very well and they would never except it. The only thing she would try to do is make me feel guilty.
