LOL Probably not, but anyhows, I was going to post this yesterday, but completely forgot.

Now, there's only one entrance to my office and only me and my daughter were in here. The kettle is too high for Amber to reach, and I may be forgetful sometimes, but I know I didn't do this!
I'm sitting here at my desk working... well.. ok, I was probably checking the boards here, but :shhhh: ! 8O anyway, I thought I heard the kettle boil. Nah... couldn't be, must be something out side. 5 minutes later I hear it again. This goes on for a few times before I finally get up to have a look. Sure enough, the switch is on and the kettle is boiling away. I turn it off and said, 'OK, I think the water's boiled enough! Doesn't need anymore!' and sat back down.
Didn't happen again after that... Is there some ghosty wanting a cuppa?? :T

LOL...maybe so!

I have the sme type of thing happen to me everytime I do laundry. I will come back into the living room to watch t.v, surf the boards, or play with Trinity and I will not be able to hear the washer. When I check on it the lid is open so the washer has stopped mid-cycle. The first couple of times I thought I just forgot to shut it, but now I am very conscious of shutting it. Happened today.

*shrugs*

I don't think the cats could lift it, but who knows who else would or why.

Yesterday must have been dedicated to strangeness.........I was going to post this, but thought nah, just another bit of strangeness in the Brown household........... I was brushing my teeth and something white and opaque passed right by the bathroom door........My father and I were the only ones at home at the time, so toothbrush in mouth, I went searching the house.......Dad was eating lunch in the dining room and had been there for a while........and my dogs may be big, but they sure aren't that big and they aren't white! Strange!

Something similar happens to me whenever I take a shower. We have an electric shower, and there is a box with a knob on it that controls the temperature. Every time I take a shower, I turn the knob to the same place: not too hot, not too cold.

After a few minutes the water always starts to get hotter and I turn around and see that the knob has been moved a few centimeters over to the red side. At first I thought that maybe I'd done this and forgotten about it in the space of a few minutes, but I started to keep my mind alert and pay attention to it while showering, and it would still happen.

I tested the knob to see how sticky or loose it is, to make sure it couldn't have slid over to that side on its own, but it seems to be in working order to me.

This is not really the same thing, but about a year ago I was making tea for my boyfriend because he had a nightmare, and I boiled water in the kettle, set the tea to steep for 10 minutes, and when I went back the cup, the kettle and all were ice cold. In San Diego. In October. It was really weird, we never figured it out. Some other weird stuff happened that night, including my boyfriend's recurring nightmare, lots of cats wailing, and a small earthquake (which I, being from WNY, initially thought was a poltergeist! *chuckle*)
Just thought I'd share, I'm in a rambling sort of mood.
