Now that Earth Day has passed, you're ready to make
every day a little greener, right? Well, one great
way to help the planet is to get pesticides out of
your life--every day. (Added benefit--it's better for
your health!) Did you know that just by using pesticides
and fertilizers on our lawns and gardens, we are
responsible for almost 10 percent of our common water
pollution? Here are a few ideas for "Being Green" every
day:

1. Wear organic clothing, grown without pesticides.

2. Keep pesticides off your lawn. For tips,

3. Use natural insect control to control fleas in your home.

4. Eat Organic! Support farmers who use natural pest and weed control rather than pesticides that poison our streams and critical groundwater, hurt wildlife, and endanger our health.
