As someone who is a film buff, I love the annual AFI lists. Previous lists included, 100 Best Comedies & 100 Best Romances. The lists were started to celebrate 100 years of film history.

Tonite, they celebrated the best Heroes & Villains that film had to offer. Here is the story, complete with list:

I *KNEW* Hannibal Lector would make it. He's my favorite villian!!

I'm very impressed that they got the name of the guy in the monster costume in 'Alien'. I'm a little disappointed that one of my all-time favorite villains didn't make it - Kurgan (played by Clancey Brown) from the very first 'Highlander' movie.

Which ones? I know that the same movie may have made both lists but I watched the show and didn't see the same character twice. :huh:

we enjoy the AFI lists, and this one was no exception.
i was slightly miffed that Rick Blaine fell short of Indiana Jones though.
but Maximus? gimme a break!

and Alex DeLarge has always been a personal hero of mine, so i think i would have put him on the other list!

Okay, only one...I swore I saw Darth Vader on both lists...but Terminator made both good and bad...cause in T1 he was bad..T2 he was good....don't know what he'll be in T3, but i'm going to find out. :cool:

From the previews it looks like he's good and the female terminator is bad.

Yeah, and it looks like she puts a worse hurtin' on him than T1000 ever did!
