Just been searching for some new links for spreads and found this interesting site tacky music! Nice diagrams of the fun spreads and very practical spreads..

It has a spread for love affairs and marriages!! Sounds as though its encouraging adultery but then as you read ..you will discover its a great one to do if your in a relatiosnhip...Im going to give it a whirl and get back to you all...

Oh, I liked the idea of the Cresent Moon spread, but it gives you three cards about the past....I think I already know what's happened....can't we just get to the present and future?? Maybe I'll work with it a bit and see if I can't come up with a couple different position meanings. :D

Ok I got the following ~
which are very accurate and read extremley well and look great especially if you imagine them in a pyramid!

CARD 1: REPRESENTS THE EARLY DAAYS OF THE RELATIONSHIP ~ Five of Wands

CARD 2: REPRESENTS A SIGNIFICANT EVENT THAT HAPPENED ALONG THE WAY ~ Four of wands

CARD 3: REPRESENTS HOW THE RELATIONSHIP CHANGED FROM IT ~ Knight of Wands

CARD 4: REPRESENTS THE SITUATION RIGHT NOW ~ Six of cups

CARD 5: REPRESENTS THE CHALLENGES YOU FACE ~ Eight of cups

CARD 6: INDICATES THE ACTION YOU SHOULD TAKE ~ Two of cups


This is so true ~ lots of passion and desire!! with the wands and now more recently getting a little more serious and in love with the cups!! but theres still allot of passion there ;)
1) We really felt passionate about eachother from the start!! My boyfriend now is an ex from my school days and when I met up with him again we totally clicked again and fell for eachother very quickly!
2) But there were a few outer obstacles in the way ~ we cleared these up quickly and I commited 100% to him
3)So he knew he was the only one for me and I think this gave him alot of faith and new love and passion into our relationship.
4) Im feeling a bit lonely now, I miss him, he's away and I know I wont get to spend allot of time with him this summer, Ive got to go to Spain to visit my dad, then the next week hes away again, then it looks like he has to start a new job as soon as he gets back ~ We both want to go away on holiday together but it doesnt look like its going to happen...
5) Think this card is telling me to pick myself up and look on the bright side and not get down about it ~ I still have him and our special love, we just wont be able to go away for a while, but we will!!! I have to make more of the time with him!!
6) Happy ending!! (I hope) Its all going to work out and whatever we get up to ~ it will be great!! :sunny:

Yeah I know what you mean about the three past cards!!! Why is so much importance placed on our past ~ we should look forward to the future!

thanks for the great links!! i haven't really done too many spreads i'm just getting the cards down but the more i read on them i want to do one but i know i'll need help from a book!!

From a book????

Here's my suggestion: lay out the reading infront of you at the computer....try to get all you can on your own...ie> what feelings the cards bring out in you, what you think they would be experiencing etc. Write this down and take your time doing it. No need to rush through it.

Then once you have gone through and done that....making sure you relate the card to the position that it is in....make notes along the way. THEN you can go to www.learntarot.com/cards.htm and get the keywords and descriptions for each card.

Then,....let us know how you did! ;)

And Tigger, well even if you feel you need a book you can still do a reading, just use the book when it feels helpful to you, like when you get really stuck... You don't have to have learned every card before you do a reading, however it would be wise to pick a small reading, like three to five cards maybe, otherwise you might feel overwhelmed... :)

Yeah i do write it all down in my journal! Then write down what i get then compare to what the book says i didn't do too bad with a 3 card spread but i'm worried that what i get may not be right and i know i should go with what i know! Just not too sure all the time!

Oh, I know the feeling where you just don't know if you're anywhere near the "truth", however, in my experience you very often are! I guess what you need is a little confidence, like myself when it comes to these things... :)

Just remember, in Tarot.....there is no right or wrong. Trust that the cards laid ARE the right cards....and it is your missions to find what they mean to you...and how it all fits together...like a puzzle...or a mystery! ;) And don't forget to get some feedback as you go along (if the person is infront of you)~!

The pyramid was dead on for me. I like that it had three foundation or past cards because the past is so recent it helped me get perspective. Maybe it should be used for new love??? Also, I didn't hear any cheesy music.
