Thanks for the sympathy and the energies. I'm sure what I was feeling was two weather fronts bumping heads a few counties to the west of here. Radar shows quite a bit of weather going on in south-central Kansas, but it isn't supposed to be severe. And I am feeling better now. Love you guys.

You have my sympathies, Lunacie, I know what migraines are like.
Try drinking a large glass of water, for some reason that helps some times.
Aside from that, good wishes to you. :)

Thank you Cydria, I do drink tons of water, that's all I drink. Well, except for that one little can of cola with lunch that I can't give up, won't give up, can't give up.....
I've heard that eating a hot pepper cures a headache. But I think its like banging my head on the wall, the burning in my mouth would distract me from the ache in my head.

Sending reiki. A few months ago, I had one of those killers and a friend gave me some grapefruit essential oil to rub on my temples. I was skeptical, but in about an hour the headache was completely gone.

Sending healing energy and feel better thoughts to you!
I suffer from both migraines and cluster headaches (that last for months-days on end--yuck)--I have found some release in massotherapy and acupuncture. You might try an acupuncturist--even if it is "two weather fronts bumping heads"--LOL--the acupuncture just might help.
Or peppermint oil?

A wonderful friend once did accupressure on my head and neck and although I thot I would pass out or be sick while he was doing it, I didn't have a bad headache for several years afterwards. I couldn't believe that one session could have such good results. Unfortunately he moved away. :(
Thanks for the Reiki and healing energies, I really appreciate it. I do use a vibrator to help relax my head, neck and shoulder muscles so I can cope with the pain better. I even have a little TENS unit that helps some. But the monster headaches like I've had the last few days, I have found nothing that helps.

**coughs politely** You might try using a different vibrator in another area. That can also take away headaches by reducing stress, increasing circulation, and giving you the other hormonal benefits.
That's as politely as I could say that. :)
**sends healing energy anyway**

Thanks Ses, sometimes that DOES help. Or at least it DISTRACTS me for a little while, like banging my head on the wall only less painful, eh?
