View Full Version : My Son has never Left Hospital...

Hi all,

I feel a little bit cheeky asking for energy to be sent to my boy jack as i am only new here...

Jack is 9 months old and has a rare genetic muscle condition and he has never left hospital, he cannot breathe without a little support and he has just had a tracheostomy in order to have a chance of breathing on his own....
He had a few problems with bleeding after his operation and he is slowly recovering, although he is still on the ventilator which he was previously on a lesser support (cpap) we a hoping he can make it off the ventilator.... Please he needs all the support he can get.

With your permission, I'd like to send Jack a Reiki treatment, and he'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

My younger brother had a similar condition when he was a baby. He literally died in our mother's arms in the emergency room as they waited for a doctor and was brought back.

Please don't ever feel funny about asking for energy. That is what we are here for and we welcome you with open arms to the community and family. Your son is gorgeous and I will send him all the energy I can. Your family will be in our prayers. I hope jack gets better very soon and can come home with you.

FWIW, I have seen kiddos on home vents and such. You will be learning all the trach care etc, if needed you can learn the vent stuff too, just to get him home where he will thrive. Good luck to you all.

Jack is just adorable. Poor little bugger, all that surgery and all those tubes. Of course I will send prayers and energies for him to do as well as he possibly can so he can go home with you. What a heartbreak you are living. Hugs and energy from me to you too, dearling.

I hope you'll let us know how is Jack is doing once in a while, eh?
