Yah...it is much faster. That is for sure. It also puts less stress on the server.

Something else cool about that is you can click on that number and it pops up a new window. Then you can post a link directly to that post somewhere else.

Semele and I are reviewing the reputation system and it looks like it should be a lot of fun...if used properly. ;) If you go to your user control panel in your profile and look at the very bottom you will be able to see your total reputation points and the last 10 reputation hits you had telling you who gave the hit, what kind of hit it was, the time you were hit and what the comment was...

First off, lets lose the reputation talk. We are going to call it Karma points. And here is how it kind of works. I will write up something a bit better tonight.

You touch someones Karma by clicking the 'Touch Karma' link underneath a person's post. You can give K points or you can take away points and you can even leave a comment for the member, viewable via their control panel. Now, the points you can give or take away depends on a few things. Here is a run down:

1. Every 90 days you are a member you gain 1 point of Karma power.
2. Every 1000 posts you gain 1 point of Karma power.
3. Every 100 Karma points you get 1 point of Karma power.
4. You must have at least 50 posts to touch anyone's Karma with your Power.
5. If you dont have at least 10 Karma points then you cannot touch anyone else's Karma.
6. You can only touch Karma 5 times in a 24 hour period.
7. You cannot touch the same person's Karma until you have touched 10 others.

They are for pure fun. If anyone is caught abusing the Karma system then I will forbid that individual to use it.
