I just had to share this with everyone!! my anniversary was today and all week we were planning on a nice day of work until 11 meeting at work until 2 and then back at work at 6:30!! after the meeting we went home and just chilled for awhile and he said that for dinner we were going to go to Fudruckers (which, if you don' t have one, it's a completely horrid burger place that has horrible service and horrid people for employees!!) I said that was fine (if it's what he wanted I was gonna go along with it...just cuz I love him...) we get to work and he says for me to keep walking cuz he got me a gift and it's in the trunk...he needs to get it...so I keep going and I start going towards the restaurant and he says that he wants to go up to work first to put his stuff down and for me to open my gift so I don't have to do it at the burger joint!! (our office is attached to a big mall!!) so we go up...go into his office and he tells me to close the door...I closed the door and he told me to open the gift...I start opening it and I realize it's a J.C. Penny box (a dept store if ya don't have one near you) and it's a clothing box...I'm going...ok he got me a shirt for our anniversary....I open it a little more and see the material and thought it was a sweater...puzzled, I keep opening the box and realize that it's this midevil type velvit dress I've been dying to have since I've known him...I get up and hug him and he asks if I like it....I tell him how much I love it and thank him and he says "good, go put it on, we're going to Mortons" (mortons is this very expensive very dressy restaurant that is famous for it's steak!) "and after we eat, we're going home" the entire working thing was a lie so that he could surprise me!!! everyone knew about it but me...he called our bosses...he called the guy that was actually working tonight...he called my mom, his mom....he didn't leave anything out!!! it was soooo romantic!! I'll post a picture of me in the dress when I get them back...but for now all I have is this picture...it's from the hot topic website....(that's my all time favorite store!!) the dress doesn't look exactly like this one....it's all black velvit ....the front part of it (the strip that's black in this picture) has red satin underneith the velvit!! It's really gorgeous!! I can't wait for everyone to see the real dress!! sorry this is so long...but I just had to share this!! I just love my hubby!!!:) (the girl in the picture is obviously not me!!) :D
