since the dream classes are here...I figured I'd ask this here...I had a dream about a little bird...just a regular little sparrow...one of the tiny brown ones...flew through our window and landed on our bed.....I know I've heard there's a definate meaning with something like that....a guy at work thinks that it's good but we can't remember exactly what it means....at first he thought it meant that I was gonna get pregnant...or that I am....but my husband thinks that it's fish that means pregnancy...I don't have the slightest clue....any help is appreciated!!! thanks in advance:)

I am definitly no expert on dream interpation, but I think that something is coming to you (material, physical or a mental matter), and that it is probably good news too... :)

OK, I'm not sure about in dreams, but my ol' Granny used to freak out if a bird got into the house; said it meant someone was going to die. NOW, that said, that could be extended to mean changes, perhaps difficult along the way, but ultimately for the better. Kinda like the Tower in tarot, or Hagalaz in Runes.

I seem to be getting a different response on this from everyone I ask...maybe there isn't one definate meaning like I thought there was....I guess I'll just keep my eyes open for changes...thanks for the help:D

Really? Bird for changes? Haven't thought of that before, but why not? :)

I usually associate birds with air, messengers and stuff like that :) Oh and I do associate fish with pregnancy, although I am not sure myself to why that is, perhaps something to do with the baby swimming in the mothers womb... :)

I don't know....like I said I've heard so many different things I don't know what to think.....I don't know where my husband heard about fish resembling pregnancy...I don't think he knows either:) I like your theory though on it Emy....it makes sense

I don't know anything about dreams & their interpretations but I was wondering...should you consider what a sparrow symbolizes to you? I mean, not everyone have the same association to a word. For example, a friend & I were talking about symbols & such. For me, the word chipmunk conjures up a image of a fuzzy little creature, running through the forest, begging for peanuts...something cute & innocent. For my friend, chipmunks symbolizes something rodent-like, scary, carriers of germs, sharp teeth...something bad & scary.

Well, I know nothing about dreams and their interpations either, but I think that only the person who had the dream can interpet it. However one might ask for advice from others to sort of get ideas and tips etc on how to interpet the dream... :)
