Okay Dagda,

I drew the Emporer for you. I'm using the Robin Wood tarot, so you can look at it for visual effect. The feeling I'm getting from this card is somewhat different than the traditional meaning. The card shows the emporer sitting on a stone throne with his feet resting upon a globe. He has armor on under his robe, but only on the top half of his body. His legs are only covered with leggings and soft, leather boots. He's holding his scepter in one hand and clutching the arm of the throne with the other.

This card is saying to me that you are feeling uneasy about something in your life right now. The first thing that jumped out at me was his hand clutching the arm of the throne. Almost like "white-knuckling" it; if you know what I mean. A tense sort of hanging on... unsurety. The armor tells me that you're feeling unsure of something and perhaps a bit protective of yourself because of it. However, you're not totally shutting yourself off. There is still part of you that knows everything is okay - dipicted by the leggings and comfortable boots. Part of you is sure that you will soon be "on top of your world". You're holding on during this rough time, but you know that if you wait it out, things will be okay.

I would say that your impressions are right on! I'm bearing the brunt of the household finances right now. I know it will be fine once Jamie starts this new job that seems to be in Limbo right now! ~ACK!~ I want to say things to him, but I keep my mouth shut, because I know it would only make him feel worse. :( And I don't want that. Once he gets this ball rolling....financial we'll be a lot better off! So, I am the Emperor of my world at the moment...in control of it all. ;)

Great job! I use the Robin Wood tarot myself....so I didn't need to get the cards out! ;)

Your score for my reading is definately an A! :sunny:

Loopy,

I drew the eight of pentacles for you. This card shows a young boy at a workbench carving wooden pentacles. There are six similar pentacles hanging on the wall behind him and another finished pentacle on the workbench next to him. In the background is a window, partially covered by a solid wood blind. Out the window, you can see part of a castle across a lake by some hills. The sky is bright blue and there are big, puffy clouds. There's an image in the clouds that also looks like a castle.

This card is saying to me that right now you are busy doing a task that needs to be done. It may seem a little mundane to you right now. It feels like you've been doing this same task over and over. Yet, you know that in order to "get it right" you have to keep working at it. Practice makes perfect. Despite knowing that you have to keep working, your heart is yearning to be out that window. You're dreaming a bit; wanting to be done with the mundane stuff so you can "play" so to speak. The window being half covered is telling me that even though you want to go have fun, you know you need to keep focused on the business stuff first. Hang with it and your rewards will be great in the end.

:)

I drew the three of pentacles for you.

This card shows a man carving a beautiful sculpture. He's smiling and looks very serene to me. He has a white feather in his cap.

The feeling I get from this card is that you are an artistic person who likes beautiful, ornate things. You have a keen attention to detail, and a flair of originality. You add your own personal, creative touch to everyday, normal things.

The other message I'm getting from this card is that possibly you can use your talent to make some money. However, this isn't your sole reason for using your special artistic ability... first and foremost is for your own, personal pleasure, and the peace that it brings you.

??? Let me know about his one. I hope I'm not way off. I got strong feelings from this one, though.

Okay, after this I *HAVE TO* get to bed... I swear this board is addictive! :D

I drew the seven of wands for you. It shows a young man standing on a grassy ridge. He's wearing only a toga type kilt thingy, :p and holding a wand with both hands - one hand is turned upward, one is turned downward. There are six other wands leaning against the side of the ridge.

The impression I'm getting from this card is that you're taking a stand about something that you feel passionately about. You feel that you need to defend your views/beliefs about the issue, yet you are prepared to do that without being too forceful. You feel confident because you have nothing to hide. You're not ashamed or embarrassed about whatever it is that you're defending. You're also prepared to 'win your battle'. You have a variety of 'tools' to use - depicted by the six wands resting against the ridge.

Okay, let me know how I did. ;)

Thank you for the reading... :)

Well I am an artistic person, I paint and stuff like that, I always put my soul in the things I do, everything can't even cook without putting my soul into it :)

I have a keen attention to detail, and I am sort of a perfectionist when it comes to my own work (not my home, I am not at all keen on cleaning and stuff like that)... I love painting, and singing and all those things, and I also love decorating (but my economy does not, so I don't get around to actually doing much decorating). I add my own personal touch to everything I do, and everything I do, I do 100 % and I have a hard time leaving things half done. :) I am a rather creative person, I have lots of imagination and mostly plenty of creative ideas. I guess you could say I have a rich inner life.

So you see you are very accurate when drawing that card! :) As for money though, I haven't made any money on my artistic life, but perhaps I should try to sell my paintings.. ?! ;)

Blessed be, and once more thank you.

Emerald!!!

Thanks so much for the reading. Very accurate I must say!! I am always willing to stand my ground to defend something yet I always try to be courteous and avoid offending others. I hate nothing more than to offend someone or hurt them. As an empath I often have to deal personally with the strong emotions of others and it is twice as hard to handle when I caused those feelings in the first place. Thanks again for taking the time to do the reading for me!!

Hi SV ~

(BTW, I like your new avatar!! :D )

I drew the three of cups for you. The card shows three girls dancing and smiling and having a good time. Each is holding a cup. Each cup has a different phase of the moon on it - waxing, full and waning. The girls have long, free flowing dresses and ballet shoes on. The sky is a beautiful blue, and there are baskets over-flowing with fruits and vegetables as well as a flute, a tamborine, and possibly a lyre on the ground.

This card is all about family and having a good time. Not just a good time, but appreciation for your family and gratitude for them. A celebration for the family you have. The feeling I get is that you don't get to see your family much so when you do it's an important event that you look forward to and want to celebrate.

You like to spend time with them and reminesce (sp?) of good times shared in the past. The phases of the moon on the cups tells me that you will also have many happy times with them in the present and future.

Just a very happy feeling I'm getting from this card.

Yes, I did finally get to bed last night. :D

Ooh, I drew the High Priestess for you. :) The card shows a pretty woman with long, black hair wearing a robe that's white at the top and gradually turns to dark blue. She's holding a crystal ball in one hand and an open book in the other. She wears a pentacle necklace and a crescent moon tiara. The background shows a full moon partially covered by mysterioud looing clouds. It's night. There are also two trees - one on each side of the card. One is white and one is black. There are only buds on he tree, not full grown leaves.

This card is telling me that you've been studying your path very diligently and it's starting to 'pay off' so to speak in that you are starting to feel the power of the God and Goddess. Your path makes you feel very balanced even though you are just beginning to learn. (The white and black trees... the buds on the trees.) The moon, and the fact that it's night tells me that you're dealing with things of an intuitive nature as opposed to a physical nature. The fact that the moon is partially covered tells me that you have more to learn, but since it's not completely covered - you have already learned much. This path feels natural to you (the woman is naked beneath her robe) and you're beginning to feel proud of the fact that you've chosen it. You're doing a wonderful job. The Lady and the Lord are proud of you.

You just about made me cry!!!!

She showed up as the first card in a Celtic Cross my friend did for me two weeks ago, I cannot believe I see her again :)

Your reading feels so right to me and I am hoping it is not just wishful thinking on my part. I am starting to feel all of my studying and practice is starting to "gel" for me. Some nights I go to bed and think that The God and Goddess and my Path were all I thought about all day long. I do realize that I have a long way to go but I feel the Lord and Lady in so much that I do now.

Ok, totally babbling here, but this has me feeling like I am on Cloud 9!

:D

Thank you, thank you!!

Chris

I drew the Empress for you. The card shows a pregnant, smiling woman sitting beneath a beech tree, spinning thread. There are baskets of fruits and vegetables beside her. She's wearing beautifully adorned clothing and has a crown on her head. She also has a light weight scarf on her head.

The feeling I'm getting from this card is that you are about to embark on something new. It will be something that you create yourself. It may be an idea that sparks a new way of doing things - perhaps in your work. It will also involve another female. I also feel that this new thing will be financially profitable. You also seem to have other ideas that you're not revealing just yet. That's good. Hold on them until the time is right. I get the feeling that if you reveal everything at once, someone will try to take credit for your hard work.

??? I know this is NOTHING like the traditional meaning for the Empress, but it's what the card was telling me. ??? Am I totally off?

I drew the Queen of Pentacles.

This card shows a dark haired, pregnant woman sitting on a chair made of vines. She sits beneath a grape vine and an apple tree. She is seemingly concentrating deeply on the leafy pentacle that she holds in her lap. The landscape is lush with flowers everywhere. There is a basket of fruit at her feet. Two bunnies are cuddling on her skirt tail and two garter snakes are intertwined by her feet. There's a vegetable/fruit/gourd motif on her apron and sash.

Hmmm... fertility, fertility, fertility!!! This card is just dripping with "growth". I'm getting a very peaceful feeling from this card. The card is telling me that you're content with the relationships in your life right now. - That your close relationships are very soothing to you. So much so, that it's okay to take the focus off of them for a bit because something else is about to take your attention. It looks like you're about to "grow" soon. Possibly you are about to acquire a new pet. ??? I'm feeling that it will be a cat. Okay, that explains the fertility thing... not an actual physical pregnancy, but a new "child" none-the-less.

I just get a very calm, serene feeling from this card. The feeling like, it's evening and all the chores are done, and it's time to just relax. Nothing to worry about, no cares in the world. You're surrounded by love and that love is just going to continue to increase and multiply.

Let me know if any of that makes sense.

Okay, it's a bit later than 07:30pm, but better late than never 'eh? :)

I drew the ten of swords for you.

The card shows a man face down in a pool of blood with ten swords sticking in his back. The sky is black except for a bit of yellow sunlight starting to peek through.

This card is telling me that you feel defeated regarding a situation in your life right now - possibly a difference of opinions, beliefs, views? It feels as if you've gone at the situation from every possibly angle that you could think of, but nothing worked. Now, it's time to give up. End the struggle and 'take your losses' so to speak.

Even though you may feel bad about this, don't forget that tomorrow is a new day. There is light in the distance. Have you ever gone through a really crappy situation that just felt like the worst thing ever, but when you woke up the next morning it didn't seem half as bad as the night before? That's the type of light I'm talking about.

Also, don't forget that the 'death' of one thing always bring the 'birth' of another. Trust the God and Goddess that the new thing will be better than that which is ending.

Dria El

I drew the eight of cups for you. The card shows a hooded man wearing a deep red cloak, holding a staff which has white feathers and some type of vine attached to it. (Sure hope it's not poison ivy. LOL! :D :D :D ) He's just beginning to climb a dark, stone mountain. I'ts night time, the waning moon is shining in the sky and eight geese are flying in front of the moon. There's fog rising around the mountains and a small pool of water between the moutains and a grassy knoll. Upon the grassy knoll are eight golden chalices. Each has a different colored stone in it's rim.

It looks like you are about to embark on a journey of some type - not a physical journey, possibly an intellectual or spiritual journey. It's of a mysterious nature... most likely related to learning about Wicca. The fact that it's night and the man is robed and hooded tells me that you may be "taking this journey" in secret. Perhaps it's too soon to tell anyone about it.

The cups sit upon the dry ground on the other side of the water. This is a safe place - dry land. You've chosen to leave the safe place and take a chance with this new spiritual understanding. At times it may feel to you that you're leaving behind everything that you used to know as true... possibly you sometimes feel that you're betraying those you love with this new spirituality. Don't worry, though, you're not. You're going at this with a pure heart (depicted by the white feathers on the staff) If you're persistant and rely upon the Lady and the Lord, you will overcome this mountain and achieve strength, wisdom and understanding.

That is right!!! I just started my new Fae Wicca Path. And i am a Wiccan in secret because most of my family ( Since they are mormon. ) It doesn't respresent much help. I have always been in confilct. BEcause although I was not raised a christian I had the ideas of one stuck into my brain in small doses. And now it is most hard to change what I was forced to believe. I have been on a spritual journey for a while now, but it has reached it peak because I feel so very secure now, but then the Christian ethics come in. And give me conscious nightmares... Of hell. It is hard to stay one thing when others keep on pulling you in different directions. It is hard but i feel that I will make it, because I feel my journey will show me my light and my path.
