This year's summer solstice will be unique in that it will also take place on a New Moon, and also be a near, or parital solar eclipse. (The Sun will reach solstice position about 07:39 AM Greenwich Univ. Time, or 00:39 AM Pacific Daylight Time) This hasn't happend since 1982, and won't happen again until 2020. The partile conjunction of the two Luminaries will occur at 11:59 AM, (4 hours and 20 min. after solstice) Greenwich Univ. Time, or 04:59 AM Pacific Daylight Time, on Thrusday, June 21st. This year's Solstice/New Moon, however, will not be in heavy aspect to other Astrological elements, therefore it is generally considered an Astrologically un-influenced (pure) Lunation. As such, it should preclude a productive time of introspection, inner and outer cleansing, peace, and spiritual seeking. Blessings.

The Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse will be conjunct my descendant and natal 7th house Cancer moon filling me with many relationship musings recently.

Bob Marks postulates on the use of a natal horoscope together with the chart for the time and place of an event, to make a Davidson chart for the event; that Davidson horoscope could give us some more information to see the effect that his event will have on the individual.

I did two charts, a Davidson with with my natal data and the SE and one with my beau's. The challenge is to read them now
