Looks like the BC clan could possibly get together with the Alberta Clan as we're really not all that far from each other. If there's enough interest, I say let's do it. :D

For the people near Ottawa, have you ever been to the Pagan Meet and Greet at the Wall Street Bar & Grill? I believe it's held every second Sunday (or Saturday?) around brunch time. We should hook up!

I say we meet regionally in an area that's close for each group, then if it works out well, we could expand it to include anyone interested in coming in the next year. My Fiance suggested that Kelowna BC might be a good choice as it's about the middle between Alberta Clan and the BC coastal conclave. Thoughts??? :)

You got it babe! Just tell me when and where! Just as long as I don't have to drive downtown...I HATE DOWNTOWN! They don't call it Confusion Square for nothing, don'tcha know?! Actually, I know the pub moot of which you speak, at least I think I do...oh maybe not..this one is in the Market, and I've been in correspondence with the gentleman who organizes it. His name is Steve (aka Wintersknight)....do you know him?

Anywho, there's a few of us in Kanata should you wish to venture that far west (it's in Ottawa). PM me and maybe we can exchange phone numbers or something, hook up that way anyway!

I'm very much interested in this idea. Would we camp? Squeeze a dozen people in one hotel room? Ah...the details.

But I can spare the bucks for a little gasoline. Now, getting time off work could be a bitch...

I would be interested in meeting...but it would depends on if it's this year or next. If it's this year, a Kelowna meeting wouldn't work for me. Although, it is really nice there in the summer...lots of camp grounds & great craft fairs.

I happen to reside in Surrey, BC. I have been hosting a coffee cauldron out here every 1st & 3rd Wed. I would like to invite the sad ex-albertan to coffee one night to show her that BC isn't always what you see. This group is very open and friendly and not cliqueish either. Lots of mingling. Like a party with caffeine instead of alcohol.

Ahhh.... are you the Jen who hosts the Surrey Coffee Cauldron?? I also live in Surrey. I've been to a couple cauldons but I just didn't have very much fun.... unfortunately I didn't mingle very well.... just watched everyone else. It's very hard to walk into a room of 20-30 strangers and start chatting.... at least, it is for me.
No offense to the cauldrons or anything, but from what I've observed they are more cliquey than is observed at first glance... I witnessed people talking behind someone's back when she was only 2 chairs away.... I've witnessed people who were supposed to be friends torment and tease another friend...his pain was quite obvious to me.... I donno.... I'd like to think it isn't all like that....but.......
Anyway..... what I'd really like to do is go to The Gathering, that sounds like it'll be a blast....
