So... university is only a year away for me. Although I am American, I intend to study in Canada. I have bunches of reasons for choosing Canada, and I've always wanted to study there anyway... so I'm finally seeing that dream come true. ;)

However, I'm having an AWFUL time wading through financial aid and scholarship papers? Does anyone have any experience applying for financial aid to study in another country or finding scholarships that are international in their application? Any help or hints will be greatly appreciated. :)

I've finally figured out the mess about required papers (student authorizations, etc.)... this is my last hurdle. ;) (Well, this and acceptance... but I'm not too concerned with being accepted..)

Thanks :)

What country are you from? (Sorry, you've probably mentioned this but I don't remember)
If you are a Commonwealth citizen, there are a bunch of scholarships you can apply for through one of the Commonwealth websites...I'll see if I can dig it up.

What university are you planning to attend?

Okay, just call me unobservant. Really, I'm not usually this bad.

Anyway, do you have access to any of the schools' guidance folk? Most of the schools I've looked at have a single form (sometimes two) which get you applied to all of the Uni's scholarships, grants, and bursaries in one go...
