Patronus

This is akin to the idea of totem animals I think, but it won't make sense to anyone who hasn't read the third Harry Potter--

I was wondering, if you did the patronus charm, what would your patronus be? I have more than one totem animal, so I haven't decided what my answer is, but I think maybe some of you have already thought about it ;)

Somehow, I knew you'd be one of the first people to answer :) I'm torn between a black bear and a butterfly. I would have said the bear before I read book five and saw a swan patronus. Now I'm imagining a giant silver blutterfly beating it's wings on a dementors head. :)

hmm..probably a raven or an owl..I seem to have connections to both. I might have a dragon, since I was born in the year of the dragon according to the Chinese horoscope system...and I have a great love and respect for dragons..

Either a Wolf or a Lion. Probably a Wolf. I went to an animal park in South Dakota years ago. One of those parks where you drive through and the animals are allowed to roam. Well they had about 20 wolf cubs in an enclosure and a black one broke from the pack and ran up to me just like he knew me. He was Beautiful,..Black but had red eyes. I've never seen anything like him. I felt such a connection, like we were old friends.
