I was reading in another posting about what someone felt being Wiccan was to them. And it made me stop and think and I felt that so many of us out there professing to a special path in life, what did it mean to anyone of us. So I will state my take on it and would hope others would do the same.....
I have been a Wiccan/witch since I was 19 years old. I imagin in all the years nowpast, I have changed my ideas on what and who I am. I have a 3rd degree plus in my craft. I have made it my lifes work to be a teacher of my path and to try and enlighten others along the way. Now do you need special talents or do you need to do any thing extra ordinary to be Wiccan. No, all you need is a faith in the Goddess and God and to abide by the REDE....."An ye harm none.....". If you revere all nature, all living things, if you honour the Esbats and Sabbats......well in my estimnation you are a Wiccan.
I have chosen to enhance my practice, with the knwledge of astral travel, other forms of magicks and spell crafting. I am an empath and that guides me as to what I am do do as a witch. I have pulled around me that whichenhances me particularly....but may not be right for another person.
I am who I i am.....witch, healer, empath, mother, grandmother.........me.
So what say you out there in cyber land.
