No cats or Dogs allowed

Hee Hee. It seems everyone here owns cats and dogs. I was just wondering if there's anyone out there that has a pet a little less than ordinary. I have a Golden Gecko named Smeagol and he has taught me so much about are planet and how little we know about animals.

Anyone else have a animal besides a cat or dog?

Of course!! :lol: Well, our "regular" fur babies are listed in the Just talk thread Pet pics. We also have our male hamster, Otis. Our female hamster, Malina (who just had 6 babies). We've got a Beta named Harry and two giant snails named Dumbledore and Hagrid. :farmerjoe Next summer we hope to buy a farm and then we'll be able to add to our family zoo!! :lol: I can't wait to have chickens and maybe a couple goats....I'd also like to have a snake. I won't get a python, which is what I really love, because I just can't have a 6-8 foot snake in a small tank. I'd have to have a room devoted for it and at this time I don't have the room!!! :rolleyes: I'm hoping to have plenty of garder snakes when we get a farm!! :farmerjoe

I use to live in a house that the front yard was full of gardner snakes.
Goats are alot of fun my grandma used to raise goats.

Other than having 3 cats (Charcoal, Luna, & Charmin) I also am owned by a ferret, Bathsheba (aka Sheba or Lovey-Noodle), and I love her to pieces! Would love to have another, but ferrets are a very high-maintenance pet, and, for me, required a lifestyle change (they need lots of interaction, LOL)

....are ferrets unusual pets?? They're not real common here (hard to find a good vet for her, but I finally succeeded) :-)

I have two betta's a reddish one named Diesel and a blue/green one named Jett. I did have a ferret named Codo but he is gone now. I also had 3 snakes. an albino bermiese python named Cane a red tail boa named Angel, and a ball python named Chyanne. I no longer have them because I had to move back in with my parents and my mom is deathly afraid of snakes. But we do have the odd assortment of deer that come to my bedroom window at night and the stray racoon. Not to mention the two dogs Harley and Bear.

And we have had five mice, one rat, and three birds, but that was years ago.

we have oscars...they are vicious fishies...we have kids here...they are pretty wild and when the behaviour kicks up a notch, they become endangered and very much hunted...

I started putting out peanuts for the squirrels so they'd leave the birdfeeder alone. Each year, I get one aggressive one (always called "Doc") who comes up on the top step or hangs on the window screens when I'm on the porch & bangs on the door or window until I throw him nuts.
Neighbors have commented that they know when I'm on the front porch because they see a grayish-brown fur ball streaking down the street towards my house.

we have 2 red eared sliders (turtles), 5 leopard geckos, a hedgehog, a crayfish and 2 regular cats for pets.....

I raise fancy guppies and they are lovely little character. Such sweet minds. And they love to swim up to the tank wall and tease the cats.
